I think clandestine tube-station bloke is the copper & Vincent is his informant. He is a gangster but the Mitchells had something to do with his dad's death so when he saw an opportunity to bring them down he took it. I'm wondering if the other bloke isn't one of his foster siblings, hence why he'd trust Vincent when he announced he had another plan & when he asked for time to deal with Ronnie. He may have arranged for Charlie to go into witness protection in return for him testifying when they've got a case against Phil.

#why did Vincent provide the gun for Ronnie in the flowers when Lucy died ( was shown during the flashback episodes in Feb) if he is an undercover policeman? The same gun that ended up in Shirley's hand and she shot Phil with it months later on.
Who is Vincent, married Kim on the quick after meeting her in a kebab shop- slept with Ronnie ( and knew her from before somehow) now mixed up in all this too.. is he a 'goodie' or 'baddie' or bit of both??

Ronnie didn't call Charlie. She called Vincent I think who then called Charlie and Charlie phoned and spoke to Roxy. I don't think Ronnie has a number for him else she would just give it to Dot. I don't understand how Vincent has his number or where he is when Vincent threw Charlie's wallet in the bin. It doesn't make sense and hasn't been explained.

Honey is not only as thick as pig shit a bit dim, but a thoroughly un-nice character.
When her DD was born she was going to call her "Janet" , which was her mum's name (IIRC Honey's mum died in childbirth)
But on learning her baby daughter had Downs Syndrome decided she couldn't have 'Janet' it was her name for her imagined perfect daughter, and named her "Petal" for the first few weeks before switching her back to Janet.

So Vincent is after the Mitchells. Not such a shocking revelation really. Why the hell was Fatboy so shocked? It was like there were grisly crime scene photos or something from his reaction.

DH was sat with me while it was on, he rarely watches it with me. There was a scene with Claudette in the bar and DH asked if her accent was changing because she's pretending to be someone else. I said that was just her but maybe he's onto something!
