Hi, everyone. Saturday evening here, balmy spring in Aotearoa/NZ. Lots of Kiwis having all night parties, barbeques etc leading up to RWC semifinal at 4.00 am our time.

Just an observation about inlaws. Mine were dreadful, now no longer around. I find I have a more tolerant memory of them now that I have become a MIL (twice!!) All of you will join the ranks in time and all of you will probably experience a wife/husband of your little bleeder not being happy with you. You never ever stop being a mother and you'll discover that you're mostly wrong about how you do/did it!
One of mine had to come home after he sustained serious, permanent injuries. I quickly lost the mother-in-law label when no-one else put their hands up to take him, including dear daughter-in-law. I very quickly was re-labelled as "mother", and we all know the responsibility of that label.

For the record, I'm not unhappy about it, now. Has been the most important learning opportunity of my life.

Got a horrid feeling that even after being in one episode of Reign, Hollywood will notice him again and lure him over there based on how gorgeous he ishope I'm wrong.

Asda was full of army cadets in full uniform helping pack bags. No adults really just kids. I was imagining CJ stuffing my bags and I came over all unnecessary.

Afternoon everyone. Just checking in after a bit of a week. (You couldn't make it up is our usual phrase for most things at work) However, will be ready and waiting for SCD at 6.35pm.

I managed to take a quick look at Reign on Netflix this afternoon. Mmmmh not sure what to say about it. I didn't see any of it last year but have to agree on quick inspection it looks like a load of twaddle. Probably quite fun to be in - young cast, silly costumes etc but threadbare historical reality I expect. It is what it is. Not sure I'll be hurrying to catch up on the past two series though. If anyone can tell me which are the main episodes of interest in series 2 I will give those a go.
