Just catching up. Happy Birthday jen.

Ice I have the feeling that you have inside intel and are trying to steer our thought processes in the right direction. I'm sure I will watch no matter who's in the cast as TG is very good at hooking us and I bet he'll manage it again. A long wait but look on the bright side. Fngers crossed, it's now less than a year till it's on our screens again. I wonder if it will be Sunday nights again or a weekday?

Kuia I have to concur with woof's assessment on Downton. I have to laugh at the Radio Times who make a point of mentioning in every review that Lady Edith 'owns a magazine you know'. Yes the hospital thing is dull, dull, dull unless its all a precursor to Isobel finally getting it together with Dr Death. I'm in such a rush to see it each week that I haven't bothered yet. Might watch tonight but have also started watching The Apprentice, brilliantly compulsive thanks to the editing. Also if you want extra portions of Gleb you can always try It Takes Two as they always appear in that at some point in the week and Tristan was on it last night.

I really wish I did rhu

So you haven't heard anything about MD possibilities in S2 from your sources ice?

icemistOBE · 15/10/2015 18:36

Nope, nothing at all

Thanks ice

I've read tonight that Cpt Blakely will be in tonight's Hunted on Ch 4! Goody! He's hardly been in it apart from first episode. Hoping for some leather jacket, growling 4 x 4 action. Smile

Nickel45 · 15/10/2015 19:14

I've really enjoyed Hunter, kel, even though I only started watching it looking for Cpt B!

Finally watched the end of Dr F yesterday (succumbed to the lurgy and took the day off sick). Have to say, I enjoyed it but probably won't watch it again unlike OG. Bit of a strange last ep. kuia agree with the other comments on Downton (caught up with that yesterday too, but fell asleep while it was on ... take what you wil from that!). I enjoyed the first series though. I think there is a new Mr Selfridge soon, as they have been filming near here. I did enjoy that, so hopefully that will still be ok.

Anyway, that's my round up of the TV!!! Looking forward to watching the Apprenctice, the editing is brilliant on that!!!

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 19:47

Thank you for reminding me orph about the Russian Mountain Rescue Team's eternal gratitude to me for saving them in that avalanche. Thanks to my very large arse, tobogganing took on a whole new euphemism and I was able to slide down that mountain to safety with all four Rescuers mounted on board.

kuia the divine Matthew Goode appears I think in Ep 3, after the dullsville episode that is Mrs Hughes and Carson's wedding, yawn. He's a racing driver, going about 25mph with Isis the dog beating him in the race not really, I just made that bit up

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 19:54

Ditto to comments re series 2, I don't think CJ or any of the Under 5s will be in it Sad but I'm hopeful for some new totty to ogle. Rupert Penry-Jones springs to mind as he's already a real Rupert and would look good in combats, or maybe an Anzac influence with Manu and some big ol' All Blacks posing as recruits from down under. kuia see to it will you? Maybe the Strike Back boys could come out of retirement, eh Rich ? Another mighty fine Antipodean, Sullivan Stapleton, wouldn't mind him going down under anytime he liked.

KellyHb · 15/10/2015 22:07

I'm going to try and watch Hunted on Catch up later nickel. I ended up watching last night's Grand Designs. DB is gorgeous, isn't he. Wink

woof I wouldn't mind seeing Matthew Goode as new army totty in a new series. Love his eyes and smile. Smile

orphan · 15/10/2015 22:20

Love Hunted but been out and missed tonight's. Have a feeling the mad women will make it to the end. I absolutely love the shot of the woman with the clown makeup, peering round in complete paranoia.

Downton schmownton yet I still watch it. Lord Grantham's going to drop dead isn't he? Unless that dramatic clutching of his belly really is just a bad case of luvvie indigestion.

Anyone seen Homeland? Rupes assures me he's all mean and angst in it but I've not watched it yet. As for the Apprentice, I'm saving it for the weekend and I've a guilty crush on Lord Sugar

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 22:23

Hmm good thinking kel but I'm guessing MG's probably a bit pricey if Sugartits is already on £250k and blown the BBC budget . He's already made it across the pond plus Downton plus movies, so we could end up with Robbie off Eastenders at this rate. Eek! It doesn't bear thinking about if we can't have BA.

To top it all I've just seen a trailer for James Bond and the usually adorable Daniel Craig is looking...old Hmm Quick! Wheel out Idris Elba pronto before I start knitting clowns and wearing bed jackets in winter

icemistOBE · 15/10/2015 22:23

Are we sending BA a birthday card this year?

OP posts:
cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 22:32

I've seen Homeland orph and haven't got a scooby what's going on Carrie's in Berlin with the ginger daughter and got a new lawyer beau who is very easy to ogle observe and Rupert's gone a little bit mad assassinating people to order with a cold lifeless face bordering on poker-like. I read somewhere that Rupert is totally up his own arse in a RL interview he did, so I'm thinking of letting you keep him whilst I concentrate on the new lawyer totty. Of course Saul is still single-handedly keeping the world turning, thank goodness

pixieg1rl · 15/10/2015 22:34

MrP saw a shot of the new bond film the other night and mistook Daniel Craig for Putin.

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 22:35

Grin pix

Richtea19 · 15/10/2015 22:36

I don't think any of the original cast will be in S2 :( or perhaps I am telling myself that to set up for the disappointment.

Downton is so dull! Other than MG who is gorgeous, although he does look rather smug.

ice I wonder what ever happened to his Birthday card and the Autograph! I saw the advert for the National TV awards and thought of all the online voting we did, and I was considering going up there so stand in the crowds for a possible sighting! Mental or what!

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 22:39

I read somewhere that Daniel Craig is another one who takes himself very seriously rather than acknowledging he's just a top budgie smuggler wearing icon for middle aged women around the world

Ilovelblue · 15/10/2015 22:40

I'll be watching series 2 regardless but still holding out hope for BA/CJ. Sorry Kelly but I will give MK a go as it were. We can only watch and wait these days.

I definitely think we ought to send BA a card for his birthday. Is it November? Did somebody deliver it by hand last year, I can't remember. Mind you, I can't always remember what I was doing yesterday, let alone last year.

Hope you're feeling better Nickel.

The storylines in Downton are pathetic this yeaer. It's definitely time it was axed.

Watching Paul O'Grady and his For the Love of Dogs (been out tonight so just catching up on here and with the telly) and shedding a few tears. I am as soppy with this as I am with DIY SOS! Hormones probably.

orphan · 15/10/2015 22:42

Well Rupe is very supple so 'up his own arse' wouldn't be inconceivable woof.

Like the sound of a hot lawyer. Might have to wrestle you for him. On second thoughts, no. I remember you had Big Daddy against the ropes on several occasions and Giant Haystacks retired after you tussled with him over your last Rollo.

orphan · 15/10/2015 22:45

Daniel Craig is def past it lookswise. I've always had to look at him through slightly squinty eyes to make him look appealing though.

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 22:45

You may titter orph but years ago in RL Big Daddy or Shirley Crabtree as was his real name, used to live near me what a claim to fame but sadly true Now you know why my wrestling is top notch and where I got all my gymnastic leotards from, although I needed a larger gusset stitched in

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 22:47

I have heard about Rupert's party trick orph but alas have never witnessed him up his own arse, only my own

orphan · 15/10/2015 22:53

Ahhh woof it's all starting to make sense...and I realise now why your leotards were so low cut.

KellyHb · 15/10/2015 23:18

And breathe....just watched the final of Hunted!! It was so tense!! I won't spoil it for you orph but I was literally shouting and screaming at the TV...it was brill though. Thoroughly enjoyed the series and think Emily Dredge fab! She seems such good fun. Not much of DB on tonights either. Probably spends his days washing his 4x4 down. Confused

Well thats all my programmes finished. There's a new series about the SAS on Monday night, Ch 4, where they're getting members of the public to be trained up by real SAS guys. Looks like plenty of totty in that orph & woof in combats Grin

cjwoofwoof · 15/10/2015 23:23

Ah yes orph that was just one of the advantages of using Big Daddy's cast offs; I don't remember the Ukranian men's beam vaulters complaining my Lycra was too low cut when I was limbering up with my skipping rope in front of their team bench
