kuia Downton is beyond slow and my boredom threshold this series imo and well and truly deserves to be the last series. It's all pigs, constantly travelling up and down to London, arguing over a hospital nobody gives a damn about and various stomach cramps between characters. The only shining light is the magnificent Matthew Goode as increasingly annoying Lady Mary's totty interest, who is mighty fine normally, but sadly dresses and acts like a complete wet wally on this occasion. Much better in The Good Wife. Your comedy show Househusbands (don't think we get that here in Blighty, need to google) sounds a preferable prospect so if there's a clash, I'd recommend choosing the comedy to save yourself the falling asleep.

My neighbour's getting work done outside their house. The workmen are quite elderly really and I've been making them teas and coffees as I don't think the neighbour does but today they're working right next to my kitchen window and I could easily make more but I'm like sod it, I'm not making more. My oldest DS, who was born when I was very young, was adopted out under pressure from my parents and came back to find me three years ago (Lovely story, beautiful man) is a doctor and has just arrived in Cardiff to be semi on call for the Rugby and to meet up with mates. He did part of his med training in anaesthetics in Wales,though I think the real skill he learned was Advanced Elbow Bending at the Bar (of any pub, Welsh or Kiwi). He said the place is really going OFF, never seen so many drunken Irishmen or Kiwis in one place. Sometimes the two are interchangeable, heaps of us have Irish ancestry.

Should be a great weekend of Rugby, we are having a Sunday morning breakfast BBQ. Daylight Saving has just started here and we are heading into summer after a very cold, wet winter

ice, I can't believe that LT and BA didn't realise that the boot was on the wrong foot .... or any of the crew (unless it was a different crew in the UK) - but even so, with all the prosthetics (is that the right word for all the sticking out broken bones and blood and stuff) that BA had on his leg (in SA, that one on the board in the car park, for the hospital scenes), how on earth could he not have realised?!?! Numpty!

I know!!! I think on an earlier thread we decided that the boot was ordered for wrong leg and with filming schedule they weren't able to get another.. TG said all uk scenes were filmed after SA

Pretty major cock up though!! Do you think they thought no one would notice??!! You'd have thought they would have had a supply of them for both legs in the BBC props department ... I wonder, if CJ is back in Series 2, which leg they will chose for his injuries !

Yes, wouldn't you think BA would have pointed out they'd got the boot on the wrong leg. He was maybe too busy being in the CJ character, looking helpless and pitiful with that wounded puppy-dog expression.

Oops, that didn't come out right. Forget the wounded puppy dog bit, that was when he was shot. The boot on the wrong leg was in Bath. Maybe he was just too carried away with thoughts of getting LT/MD into bed.

Ditto ladies on the boot on wrong leg situation. That was someone's epic fail.

Excited for episode 5 watch-a-long on Sunday. I'll feel warm and fuzzy over the 'missed me' scene but an emotional wreck --not because I'll be hungover-about could that be the very last we'll see of CJ and Molly?? I can't even think about it tbh. I'm sure TG and LT would arrange something for us?

I don't think we'll see LT at all, not even a cameo.

We'll just have to see I suppose. A few others have tweeted TG asking about this but in a way I wish he would say if a cameo is definitely not happening either so people don't think about it.

Have no wish to rain on anyone's parade and rest assured I want to see CJ in the next series (for me, the last series was all about him), but if BA has his sights set elsewhere and won't be in it, there's going to be no need for any explanation about MD anyway as they can have a completely new cast with different storylines.

It's just a waiting game.......... and I am not the most patient of people!

Come to think of it woof it was your orgasmic shrieks whilst tobogganing in the dolomites that started that mini avalanche wasn't it? You still exchange Xmas cards and bodily fluids with the mountain rescue team don't you?

Molly's story was always central to OG, CJ was a bonus. Molly's so called journey is complete- she's got her career and a man that she loves who loves her. And from the girl with no hope to one with a great future. Of course it would have been fab to have them both in the new series but it's not happened that way.

And even if LT does make a cameo I guarantee no one will know till she appears on the screen.

kelly I'm afraid I very much doubt we'll see an LT cameo, but I do love rhubarb's idea of lingering shots of CJ 'fingering' Molly's photo.

If there's no CJ at all, I'm not sure I'll be that interested tbh as I just can't work up the enthusiasm for Sugartits.

I remember TG saying 'that's the plan' about CJ and 2 section featuring in S2. We've been waiting since June I think when MK was announced? Everyone's been so patient but I suppose we don't have a choice.

Yip orph if CJ 'fingering' photos of Molly and mentions her is all we'll get, its better than nothing at all.

But if no CJ or 2 section and all new story, I'll give first episode a go as TG's a great writer but whether I'd watch any more I don't know, as I'm not keen on MK.
