It looks like Paul's mum (that's Paul with the Sideshow Bob hair) could reappear, too? She left before he was one year old, he said, so she'd be about 40 maybe?

The new FTM transgender character is being played by a 21 year old, so I have ruled him out. Just. I wouldn't put anything past EE at the moment.

If you are talking about the transgender character, then the actor is already a man so not an actress or a she. The character is called Kyle.

Gavin is going to turn out to be Sharon Mitchell's dad, he is listed as such on her Wikipedia page and lived around the square in the 60s and 70s as he knew Dennis and Angie Watts and the others. He knew Ted, Kathy's brother, although i don't remember Ted being in it.( Must have been when i had my kids small and didn't watch as much)
Shirley's dad was Stan who died earlier on this year - Shirley is Mick's mum though, she had him with Busta and stan and his wife brought him up as their own for years. have a hunch that Kyle will be something to do with Claudette and Les coker, she fostered him or something like that.

EE have released pictures of Kyle with Stacey. I now think he's going to have something to do with the key. Maybe it'll then tie into Les and Claudette somehow. It would be nice if some of the storylines started to tie into one another. Far too much going on at the moment.

I've looked at this week's TV guide and SPOILER ISH THAT HAS BEEN SPECULATED ON HERE A LOT HINTED AT

Donna walks in on Les and Claudette and sees something she cannot unsee. Guessing the cross dressing theories are correct as cannot imagine what else it could be. I am guessing adult baby would be a step too far for EE Grin. Also apparently Les has to confess or something so hopefully this storyline will finally come to a bloody conclusion soon!

I did love how through everything that's been happening to Kathy how she's been hiding away in a grotty hotel etc but she had the most beautifully manicured nails with lovely red nail varnish :/

I think you misread that - Kathy is Sharon's step mother. Kathy is Phil's ex wife. Not Sharon's step mother and Phil's

The Les secret wasn't given away by Crap. We still don't know what it is. In my magazine it says that Donna makes a 'horrifying discovery' at Claudette's house so it still could be a few things, though I'm sticking with cross-dressing.

I saw a pic of Grant Mitchell on the cover of one of those crap soap magazines. Is he coming back to save Phil? Ridiculous. Why bother writing a new character when you can just dredge up old ones from the show's heyday.
