Series 2... filming starts Jan 2016

woof have you noticed that Kitty who traded her kisses for bags of dried beans from Major I'llMakeItTwoBagsFull is playing the lusty lady in The Go Between? I'm still sad that series isn't being recommissioned - a lot of storylines were left dangling, so to speak.

I'll do a roll call around 8:45 so gives everyone time to get a glass/cup of coffee/kid check etc

How I'll keep up everywhere is still in doubt. I think copy & paste maybe my best friend

online newspapers are full of 'michelle keegan' jets off to africa to film. Think this series will garner more press attention

No mention of who she's filming WITH ice?

Nope, and not even a mention of when she goes. Just nonsense really.

That's why for me ice there's so much riding on this series. If there's only a little mention of Molly and CJ as a couple, that would be all we'd get for the future as if S2 gets lots of media attention because of MK, BA's profile would rise properly this time and if there ever was a S3, there's no way he'd be back for it.

I wish I was looking forward to this new series like many others but tbh if I knew no cameo scene and a tiny mention of the couple, I probably wouldn't watch it. I doubt in this new series, there'll be anything as good as Molly/CJ. Such a shame I can't get excited about this new one.

But maybe TG can persuade LT to do a cameo as they're friends I think and shed know how much people loved the love story and would try and do some scene for us, especially as it wouldn't involved going overseas. I'm sure EE would give her half a day off filming or something.

Plus TG hasnt replied to tweets asking him to write cameos, saying its definitely not going to happen. I'll cross my fingers.

I honestly don't believe there'll be any appearance from LT. TG is a great writer and I loved the whole journey for Molly- CJ rounded it all up nicely. It would be nice to have cameo but I'm with not holding out for it.

I guess for me, Molly's story is complete. I'm looking forward to seeing what TG has in store for the character of Georgie.

I'll be watching for definite- nothing will stop me

Oh Kelly if we were handing out OG awards I think I would present you with the Anne Eliot Award - for 'she who loves longest when all hope is gone'. You know I mean that in kind jest! Bless you, keep up the good work and we'll love you for always if you get us that cameo!

He doesn't reply to any tweets that ask for info on series 2

I can imagine TG can make much public about the S2 storyline Kelly, even if were inclined to. I think we just need to trust that he will write a good story and that he has some sympathy for his mad hormonal fans.

Jumping ahead a bit here, but I wonder if the BBC might consider repeating S1 next year some time - one of those 'another chance to see' progrrammes perhaps on a weekday. It might be worth their while to drum up more interest and then announce that S2 will be broadcast in the autumn. If they did that we could have another watch along in real TV time!

Forgot to say Kelly I'd get RPJ to present the award to you - certainly worth winning for that alone!

Haha rhu Yes, I am this century's equivalent of Anne Elliott. But if it means I end up with RPJ at the end then I can't complain.

Its just the fact thinking of how great it would be to have them together again knowing that TG was writing a script for LT to come back and when you hear BA in interviews, he thought LT's character would come back and then it turned to nothing.

Oh Kelly, it's such a long time to wait till the new series and to worry whether LT puts in a brief appearance or not. You've got all of us to carry you through, don't worry!

I have to say that although I loved the CJ/MD storyline, I am happy to sit back and see what happens in series 2. I did see MK in some Corrie episodes but wouldn't let her character in it (she had an affair) colour my judgement as to her acting ability in OG. Have to say - and you can hate me if you like - for me the last series was about CJ/BA. Well after the first episode it was, when I decided he wasn't such a male chauvinist pig after all.

Talking of the first episode, I've just checked to make sure the DVD is still working! I had a minor panic when I couldn't find the remote control but it had dropped behind the settee.

Just over 6 hours to go!

I've recorded Downton. I get fed up with all the adverts so this way, I can skip over them. I did lose interest in the last series I have to admit and it had little to do with OG. I had been to Highclere Castle (where Downton is filmed) in early September 2014 and was very, very disappointed with it. The tickets were very expensive, we had to book online in February in order to go in September and once we were there, there were so few references to Downton, which, let's face it, is why 99% of the visitors were there. The snooty staff kept saying "It's a home, not a film set" but they weren't very welcoming and I felt the whole thing was a rip-off. Also, I thought the storylines were quite weak in the last series.

Thanks ilove. I think I'll look like I'll have aged 20 years and have a drink problem by the end episode of S2. I'll be a cautionary tale to any other TV addicts out there who have a hopeless romantic streak.

A lot of people think the same as you about S1 being about CJ/BA ilove

It probably means I am very shallow (and also very jealous of Molly!) Kelly.

orphan and pixie was it either of you who knew Lady Caernarvon before she became the chatelaine at Highclere? Or was it somebody who no longer posts on here?

Just popping in to say I'm really sad that I won't be able to join you tonight (pants r/l continues), but I will be jealously thinking of you all and waiting with bated breath to read-along later on or tomorrow.
I'm with you ice wild horses wont keep me away from s2 - as long as CJs in it. Really it's all about him as far as I'm concerned. I loved the story with MD kel but don't think their relationship could live up to my favourite ff scenarios, so I'm happy, I think! Love that you keep the hope alive though and please keep on keeping pressure on :)

This time last year, hubby was happy enough to sit in garden which meant I could watch OG all on my own. This year he wants to sit on the couch.... Ruining my viewing pleasure

I'm teetering on the edge of becoming suddenly 'indisposed'. I sooo want to join you all but I think dp would have me committed if I pulled out of tonight. Anyway, I will be drinking prosecco kelly (but won't be restricting myself to one glass!) so I'll be with you in spirit.
