Series 2... filming starts Jan 2016

I got all excited about the split screen on iPad for tomorrow night. I've done the update and now found out that my iPad is not new enough to do it :(

I will just enjoy all your posts, and it will be good to test my memory of each episode.

Didn't spot any real life soldiers today but the course was in the grounds of the barracks. Saw a helicopter!

Boo, Richtea.????Dinner was nice Kelly, DS's behaviour left quite a bit to be desired. He always gets very excited when he sees his cousins and MrP and my brother just absolve themselves of any responsibility for their children.

My DH is the same pixie unable to perform parental duties when in the company of others!

Might try and post on the iPhone and watch on the iPad. Are we all pressing "play" at the same time? Birdy was on dermot OL show this afternoon. Didn't hear all of it as we had an emergency McDonalds stop on the way home.

I love emergency McD stops ... you HAVE to stop, so you can't feel guilty :) Result!!

I suppose it'll be a given that some people's episodes will be like a minute or so ahead of others. Will there be like a clock countdown so its the exact second we all start watching it?

I can guarantee when I try and press play, the batteries in the remote won't work and I'll be spending the next couple of minutes frantically trying to press play...

I'm too ashamed to tell you how many McDonald's stops I've had these past couple of weeks. I think the drive thru staff know me on first name terms now

When my two were little kel I used to drive to the nearest drive thru McD to get them to sleep, get a coffee and apple pie and enjoy the peace and quiet ... a lot! Shame they are both at school now, I don't have any excuse now!

That sounds spot on to me nickel. My routine now is pick boys up and yes hopefully they'll fall asleep on way to McDs and then I can get home and have a McChicken sandwich meal in peace while reading FF! Parent of the year-not!

I should say that doesn't happen every day!

Ah you make me feel better nickel DS is nearly 5 mths and is seems the only place to get him to nap is the car.... Hence a regular McDonald's stop. We have a costa coffee drive thru nearby but its just not the same. Just caught up on Vera. Lovely bit of BA in uniform

I'm listening to London Grammar's album and it's just so OG. I remember listening to it for the first time and wondering what the 2nd series would be like with everyone back..alas.

Just watched the end closing door scene of OG on a music video-aw its gorgeous still. Love the way he looks at her.

Morning all. My aim for today is to wear the kids out so they are asleep by 9. Not holding my breath over that one (although, may well be out of breath!).

Got a Facebook reminder this morning which said I am going to an event. My first thought was 'Hell, what am I supposed to be doing?', then I remembered. Need to get the DVD out in readiness. Also need to record Downton and The Go Between.

Pleasant morning here though rather cool.

Morning! It's going to be fun! I think we'll need a roll call just before 9pm. Think we'd better synchronise watches somehow using something available to all - every clock in my house has a different time on it and I don't mean like New York, Sydney, Tokyo etc but given the international interest it's almost like that. Cor, synchronising watches, it's all getting like a military exercise isn't it? Better get myself well equipped for it. As long as I don't have to shout out at some point "It's bloody thunder!!" which might disturb the neighbours it will be alright. Am I sounding just the teeniest bit hysterically excited? It doesn't take much.

I'm so incredibly excited it's ridiculous!!!

So disappointed I won't be joining in. I tentatively mentioned it to dp who now thinks me completely insane for considering throwing over dinner with friends to watch OG!! I'm going to be surreptitiously looking at my phone at 9. I'm cross with myself for not keeping the date free.

Also excited though about Matthew Goode's return in Downton. I hope he's filmed from the right angle so his slightly weak chin isn't obvious...Rupert's been in a sulk of course, cos he thinks that role was made for him and his hair's growing back in all funny from being shaved off for his dud film Hitman

Excited here to but not sure how much I'll see as DS seems to have developed a 9pm wake up and scream pattern up the over last few days.... Fingers crossed he's gets in to a deep sleep just before 9pm!!

orph I can't remember what part Matthew Goode played in Downton last year. To be honest the whole series is a bit of a blur as although I watched it I wasn't particularly engaged with it for some strange reason. Actually I do like Matthew Goode - weak chin and all - he was great in Dancing on the Edge a similar period piece. Was his character in Downton a racing driver or something?

rhu I can't really remember either, just that he had a swanky fast car and looked good in the period clothes! Have you seen the weird film Stoker? He stars in it and is incredibly disturbing and menacing, all whilst looking gorgeous.

I'd say OG is ideal viewing for infants Maddie

Yeah pix maybe I'll just plonk him on the boob on the sofa and watch it...
