Great ending Kelly and looking forward to your QS epilogue. I do hope you'll do another story?

Loved the fandom story. I could relate to most of them as I am sure we all can but I did particularly like the last one about having a whole new group of friends.

BK28 · 03/09/2015 00:28

orphan go and be brilliant... just remember it isn't the first day which is the hard bit, it is turning up for day 2!! Have fun but maybe keep your darker side under cover until at least the third week!!

Just off to finish reading through thread one...wish I had found you all in those heady days, I didn't start lurking until 7 or 8 and then the world of anything where you publically commented scared me stiff and now look at us! Cheers ladies it's been a hoot, and long may it remain!! Wine

KellyHb · 03/09/2015 07:14

Morning all.

Can't get kids put of bed. Unusually they're up very early. Will have to start banging bin lids in a sec. Smile

Loved how you were kicking ass and taking names with that ex-RAF bloke *ilove". Glad you liked the story too. I may do another one at some point.

The Raff posted a picture on Instagram looking down at the view from The Shard last night. Wonder if BA was with her?

Well off to go to twins nursery stay and play this morning. Hopefully they'll let you leave them in the session.

orphan · 03/09/2015 07:53

Morning - just about to go and do DAY 2 (I'm crossing the days off in tally form like prisoners do in cells) so hope Male Totty will be in view. This time I'll be prepared and am taking a cloth to mop up my dribble.

Hasn't BA taken her up the Shard before? A bit greedy to want second helpings...Blush

Ilovelblue · 03/09/2015 08:14

Is 'up the Shard' a euphemism? If not, maybe it should be.

Richtea19 · 03/09/2015 08:23

ilove brilliant saying "magic word please"! Priceless. I hate those arrogant types. We have a doctor at work that barks at us, he thinks because he can dish out prescriptions and advise he is somewhat on a higher level than us ordinary people.

Day 2 orphan..... hope you run into mystery PE man today.

Back to school for little DS today, so far looking smart, that will be last time until the first day of next term!

Big DS back to sixth form next week. He is going to Birmingham this weekend to compete in the Youth Develpment League Finals (running). So he's gotmplenty going on!

icemistOBE · 03/09/2015 08:24

She was flying over London- she came home yesterday

OP posts:
KellyHb · 03/09/2015 09:43

Ah so she wasn't actually at the Shard but flying over? I was thinking she was already in London as I assumed she was at a wedding here at the weekend? Ah well it wont be long til she meets up with BA. Lucky having a friend like him. Hmm

Left the boys at school nursery for the first time. I thought I had to stay with them but I didn't have to so I pick them up in a couple of hours. For some reason, more nervous about leaving them in a school nursery. Don't know why. They should be fine. Confused

Nickel45 · 03/09/2015 09:56

Morning all.

Well done you, ilove, above and beyond to bring him back down to earth! Nice one. :)

Have a fun second day orph, when are the kids in?

Mine are back for their first day ... half way to school, discovered DS was wearing the shortest scruffiest dress ... we have an "emergency" one, with those blimmin' white board pen marks on (if anyone ever works out how to get them off, they'll become a millionaire) for when I haven't done the washing in time, and for some reason DH put her in it ... how he found it under all the nicely ironed, labelled ones, is a mystery! Hey ho, she's in Year 1 ... could be worse! give it an day or two, and it probably will be

Nickel45 · 03/09/2015 09:57

kel I hope you are enjoying your "time off" .... and that you are sitting around doing nothing, rather than running around to get everything done before you pick them up ... treat yourself and enjoy :) Brew

MaddieMoo82 · 03/09/2015 10:34

Hope they get on well kelly. Did you the potty training sorted before they started? DS in booked into nursery from 9mths but don't wanna think about that at the mo.... Way too little!

KellyHb · 03/09/2015 10:41

Thanks nickel & maddie. I got myself a McDonald's breakfast and am currently watching JN in Grantchester. Didn't get to finish watching the series the other week. Wish JN was playing the lover in Lady Chatterley's. Think it's on this Sunday??

Dreading picking twins up as I know for a fact they won't want to leave and itll be a case of me putting one over my shoulder and trying to grab the other one to frogmarch him out the door. Hope I'm wrong. Confused Oh and all the usual pity looks from other mothers.

KellyHb · 03/09/2015 10:43

Only just got them potty trained by the skin of their teeth Maddie. Now they're obsessed with continually wanting to be on the toilet. So all in all, pleased they got there in the end. Just wait until you haven't got to do nappies either. Smile

icemistOBE · 03/09/2015 11:09

On my way to Bury, so nice to be able to go without the 5yo moaning and running off.

pixieg1rl · 03/09/2015 12:33

I'm fully expecting my DS not to want to leave school this afternoon either kelly, I used to get my ear bent by him if I picked him up from nursery earlier than 5:30.

I'm afraid I've failed in the sit down and relax stakes as well, as soon as I dropped him off it was whizzing around doing chores and then I cut the grass bank outside our house. I should have used a scythe is was so long. Still, we're no longer the disgrace of the village now it's done.

KellyHb · 03/09/2015 13:16

So is your DS at school all day now pix?

Mine were pretty good actually at leaving. I was surprised. I didn't have to put reigns on them and they walked out nicely holding my hand. Shock

To give them a treat, I went to the car wash bc they love watching the soapsuds on the windows plus they got some rice pudding for dessert. Ha. I run a tight ship. Smile

Luckily they seen tired now so they might have a sleep. Which means I might grab 10 mins too. And dream about CJ giving me an all over body massage.Grin

KellyHb · 03/09/2015 13:24

I hate it when I review a FF and it takes forever for it come through. Confused

pixieg1rl · 03/09/2015 13:28

Yep, in full days from day one kelly Given that he's been in nursery 8.30 - 5.30 since he was 12 months old he's going to have to adjust to school days.

KellyHb · 03/09/2015 14:04

Aw. He'll probably Iove his first day pix. Its half the battle when they like going.

Nickel45 · 03/09/2015 14:07

Hope your littlie loves school too pix (and that he doesn't lose any of his carefully labelled socks Wink)

pixieg1rl · 03/09/2015 15:04

I hope not nickel, he was most proud of his grown up socks this morning

orphan · 03/09/2015 16:36

Hmm, key words of today were observations, appraisals, probation period. Watch this space:I might not make the grade and be back to being a fulltime member on this thread in 6 months.

Very disappointingly I couldn't spot the yummy one today. Probably locked in the stationery cupboard only to be released for the (female) Head's pleasure. May I clarify that he isn't actually a PE teacher as far as I know; it was pixie's torrid imagination that had him in skimpy shorts. I did however, meet the real PE teacher. Tall, blonde and surfer type. Any takers?

KellyHb · 03/09/2015 16:38

I wasn't a very proud parent this afternoon. One twin wee'd on living room floor and I was wiping it up and I told the other twin not to move until I'd wiped it all up but accidentally he slid in it and sprayed wee all over my legs. It was grim. Very grim. Sad

orphan · 03/09/2015 16:38

Oh and students back in tomorrow nickel. Pity, I quite like the school without them.Smile

moojangles · 03/09/2015 16:45

orphan I feel your pain..I am sure you will be more than brilliant
