I'll leave cherin to you then rich

woof, we've been wittering on about discussing the same topic for 12 months now, I don't think you're going to miss much apart from feverish drooling and a few hot flushes.

pixieg1rl · 04/09/2015 16:18

Lovely gymnastics teacher is back! I'm filling up on the sight of him. sigh

cjwoofwoof · 04/09/2015 16:55

You call it wittering, I call it in-depth analysis, psychological probing and full-on leering insightful carnal knowledge pix Grin

BK28 · 04/09/2015 17:05

ice as our technical lead, woof's witterings have just made me think have I missed some technical detail while cast away with cj on the barge about the watch along...how is said transmission taking place ? Put it down that it is menopausal off day!!

Ilovelblue · 04/09/2015 17:23

Always apologies for trying to usurp you as the longest posting member! I do remember now that you had to change your ID.

Isn't it weird reading through the first thread again?

Sitting in the hairdressers at the mo. She's running 20 mins late and typically I rushed to get here on time!

pixieg1rl · 04/09/2015 18:20

I totally chatted up gymnastics guy this afternoon! He was asking about my our holiday and I mentioned that DS was having one of his gymnastics friends over for a sleepover. He said I could come and sleep at the gym if I wanted. I must have looked as if I was going to jump him, because he very quickly covered up his longing for me said he wouldn't be there all night.

Alwaysfrank · 04/09/2015 18:33

You are forgiven Ilove you are much more worthy of any thread honours than me! Grin

Dizzydots · 04/09/2015 18:41

Yes it was totally his own idea and doing bk, I wasn't allowed to know where until we were nearly there. I was hugely impressed and all the little details seen to as well. Now I know he can do it......! Hi woof and happy birthday to you, sorry I missed that but sounds like it was a milestone unless you get royal treatment every year? So much to look forward to and really hoping to be here for the watch-along but it is one of our return to uni delivery days and so may also miss out :(

KellyHb · 04/09/2015 19:02

How jealous am I of this lady? Somebody tweeted that they were in the same train carriage as BA today. I've asked her a couple of random questions see if she replies. It sounds like he was on a train going back to Devon. I would literally jump him if I saw him and then get arrested later. Grin

KellyHb · 04/09/2015 19:17

Actually no, if I was next to BA, I'd sidle up to him and ask him to kindly read some OG QS back to me. Wink

Nickel45 · 04/09/2015 19:37

pix ... wahay!!
Grin

KellyHb · 04/09/2015 19:58

Yeah nickel", you were well in there pix*.

MaddieMoo82 · 04/09/2015 20:27

Eeek I'm in Devon.... He's coming to Devon!!!!! Yikes Smile hurriedly jumps in the shower and changes out of maternity pants and pjs and tries to squeeze post baby body into a little black dress and sexy pants

KellyHb · 04/09/2015 22:03

Go Maddie fly like the wind! I would so be having a good look around to spot him! Can you drive?

The girl who was in the same carriage as him hasnt replied. It would've been fun to find out stuff about who he was with etc.....

While I was in Asda tonight, something random happened. Me and the family were walking down the Pizza aisle and DH said really loudly actually, 'I'm surprised you've not seen what's behind us. Look over there.' and I looked behind expecting to see BA for some reason and there was a man in full army uniform and wearing a baseball cap! Wasn't CJ/BA though. Couldn't get a good look at his face but he had his family with him.

I always find it strange if I see army types round here as we've got no army bases or anything round here. Confused

Ilovelblue · 04/09/2015 22:20

Kelly can you explain this aspect of Twitter to me please. I (sort of) get how you follow somebody and their tweets and can retweet their comments but how did you find some previously unknown woman had tweeted about BA? Or does it bring up anything with BA in the subject?

Was your army uniform man in Asda real army or just liked dressing up in the outfit (thinking the baseball cap was somewhat out of place that's all).

orphan · 04/09/2015 22:29

I knew it woof - I was right! You were celebrating a very special milestone birthday which involved a garden party at BuckIngham Palace, opening your telegraph in front of the Queen. No need to be coy with us. Were the fire service on standby for lighting the candles on your cake? Remember the tragic accident on your last milestone celebration when dear Ian's chest hair caught alight as you blew a bit too vigorously...

Day 3 at the gulag school was enlivened by sitting opposite Mr Sexinthestaffroom at breaktime. I hid my drooling by pretending to drink my coffee. As for the pupils, what can I say except I intend to replace coffee at breaktimes with neat vodka the Head leads by example

dizzy I'm so envious of your surprise trip. Mr Dizzy's def worth holding onto until at least your next milestone celebration!

pixieg1rl · 04/09/2015 22:30

Kelly when you come down to stalk see the Grantchester filming I can take you to my local Sainsburys, right next door to the Army Reserves centre. Tuesday evenings were particularly good IIRC

LolaKent14 · 04/09/2015 22:31

Keanu Reeves 51 still got it!

Ilovelblue · 04/09/2015 22:31

Ladies, I need your views on something. I am taking a friend out on Sunday for lunch as it's her 50th birthday coming up when I am away. I thought about making a cake and asking her to come back here for coffee and cake after our meal. I'm a bit short of time (out at a food festival tomorrow about 60 miles from home so will be late back). I know she will appreciate it (she doesn't cook unless forced to do so) but I keep asking myself "Would she do anything like that for me?" Am I being selfish if I don't do it or am I being over-generous thinking of it in the first place? I know she wouldn't do it for me!

KellyHb · 04/09/2015 22:33

Tbh ilove I can't remember how I came across the tweet. I think I was just having a general read of tweets that were in my home page and someone who I follow had commented on the tweet. Not very good at explaining this sort of thing.

Asda man was odd. He looked too dressed for it to be just a random man wearing camo gear but maybe I took it that he'd finished whatever he'd done army work for the day and put his cap on for Asda. How inexperienced do I sound-army work? Blush

KellyHb · 04/09/2015 22:39

Wow pix you're really selling the Cambridge trip to me. GrinGrin And after I've dribbled and generally fawned all over JN and greeted my fellow Geordie RG, I can go to Devon and sniff out BA!!

It'll be like Challenge Annika all over again (except without the shellsuits)

orphan · 04/09/2015 22:43

ilove I'm sure your friend will be happy with you taking her out for the meal and wouldn't expect any more. But of course if I'm ever in your neck of the woods I would def expect some of your delicious sounding cakes.

Sorry lola Keane has a whiff of supply teacher to me.Apologies to any supply teachers with beards on this thread.

orphan · 04/09/2015 22:44

Keanu. Blooming auto correct.

KellyHb · 04/09/2015 22:49

Sorry the pupils being there spoilt your day orph. What kind of hairstyle has Mr Sexinthstaffroom got? Is it curly and thick like CJ so you've got something to hold onto? Grin

Rhubarb01 · 04/09/2015 22:52

Ilove I agree with orphan - you are already being very kind in taking your friend out for lunch. I don''t think she would expect you to offer her cake as well. I think you are only worrying about it because you are used to doing a lot for other people and are very generous with your time and culinary skills! If you really are short of time but feel the need to do this - why not buy a nice cake instead - but I'm sure she will be very happy with the lunch and your company and you are not being selfish at all!
