rhu weekend conventions to discuss with like-minded people....has a familiar ring to it...

Wow just watched Taylor Swift's new video for her song 'Wildest Dreams' and a part of it is supposed to look like the desert with wild animals etc: and it completely reminded me of pix's Op Nyota with Molly and CJ.

Unless I'm too obsessed with this couple and you would think it doesn't remind you at all but give it a watch, see what you think.

You need to watch This Wild Life at 7 on BBC2 Kelly (if you can stand Saba Douglas Hamilton that is), Nyota was set around there.

I shall be green with envy watching it on catch up later.

Sorry about your settee stain Jen. Luckily enough, mine have mostly gone onto the potty or toilet on time but I was thinking a while ago about getting a fabric settee but I thought knowing what my two are like, I'd better wait. Is your youngest starting school nursery this year?

Ahh just watching the loveliness again of Scott Eastwood (Clint's son) flying in a biplane over some bison. Lucky Taylor. Even though it is probably green screen.

DH had to come with us (given he had 6 child free days in the last 8). Tbh I hadnt actually noticed he had done the hoovering! Probably his way of highlighting that he had. Still, had a lovely time at the fayre. Now watching the exciting new film ... Curious George., Return to the Jungle!!!

Wow Kelly just took a look at that video and boy is young Scott the image of his daddy although a little broader in build. It's very 'Out of Africa' isn't it but nice storyline. Plenty of action for Taylor too. Was that lion real? Is Scott acting in anything I hadn't heard of him before.

He was in The Longest Ride. Watched it on the flight home, easy on the eye

Just stopped raining here, think the entire town was out walking/jogging/cycling over the park.
So don't want to go back to work, but be more enthusiastic if we weren't starting with 2 days of INSET and my RL OG fan friend has left & 2 other closest friends/colleagues are on maternity leave
jen 1001 stain remover spray is excellent-worked wonders on stains left my old incontinent dog, steam cleaner excellent too.

mooj I have a similar problem with friends/close colleagues at work leaving - you know, the sort you could sound off to or ask for advice knowing it wouldn't go any further. Feel pretty fed up with work to be quite honest at the moment.

I am dreading it that aspect of it ilove, knowing there is someone who has your back makes a huge difference.

Strangely perhaps, two of my confidantes were men. Not that you can't be friends with men of course but I guess it's more usual to have a moan and whinge with your female colleagues? I need to line some other confidantes up to fill their shoes perhaps.

Glad you liked the video rhu. I think the animals were real and they shot on location somewhere. I just totally imagined that as CJ and Molly.

Yip dizzy & mooj Scott was all kinds of wonderful in The Longest Ride. Would be liked more naked scenes but you can't have everything. Watching that film, I was too entranced with him to eat my Pick 'n' Mix. SE could dip his hand in my chocolate raisins any time he wants.

I do both, as it were! I will be treading wearily for a bit but I can always hide in my office if I need to! Had one of those years last year where you find out who your true friends are at work- sounds far more sinister than it was but it was a tough one.
nickel maybe dh needs to de hoovering regularly to build up relevant muscle strength?!

Still raining here, just finished a lovely roast dinner and now ready for a snooze! Doesn't look like much on telly tonight either.

Couch update - patch test with the steam cleaner didn't look too good (thanks for the tip to do the patch test!). Stain remover has lifted it a bit, now I need to find something to fix the smell . Thanks everyone for the tips. He had a very good potty day besides that one incident, maybe things are looking up. kelly yes he starts school nursery next month after he turns 3, which is why I'm trying to crack it by then.

Good luck to all the teachers, school kids and frantically labelling parents. The schools all went back up here a few weeks ago, so we're beginning to get into some kind of routine again.

I'm getting my bag ready for London work trip later in the week, plenty of stretchy material so I can launch into gorilla grip on any BA sightings
