icemist if you do buy the bus tickets, they last for 24 hours so you can 'straddle' them over 2 days if you like. Get the ones with live commentary rather than recorded as they're more comedy value!

Fab tip! Our 1st and main reason for the trip is the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum so would work perfect with the rest of our stay

Very jealous of your London trip ice. Priced of the train for here and it was £200 for us :-/ never been to natural history or science and would love to go. Have you got a central hotel or are you just going for the day?
Awful weather here. Left DPs shoes outside as they smelt a bit dodgy last night and it poured with rain.... Oops.

All weekend's been spent potty training. Both boys wanted to be done at the same time so it's the big push (pardon the pun) before they start nursery in a couple of weeks. Unbelievable how much poo and wee littlies actually produce!

Started Laurielove's new book last night called 'A Twist of Fate'. Was it rich or nickel who'd read it recently but its fab and plenty of smut! The author said it had similarities to OG. Was reading it while listening to OG soundtrack.

Read good news this morning that the delectable James Norton is playing the lover in Lady Chatterley's to be screened this autumn!

Also read that the new series of Downtown Abbey is on this autumn too so seeing as S2 won't be on at the same time as it next year, there could be higher ratings and maybe more of a chance of OG S3??

Love that museum ice. Trying to break new glasses in, changed from varifocals to some multi vision things, feeling queasy. Also thought blood shot eye was eye strain, optician sent me to doc who I saw today, slightly freaked that I already have appointment at hospital eye unit tomorrow!!

Have you got a family railcard ice? Really worth it if you do a fair amount of rail travel.

Which hotel recommendations have you got?

You can also get a two person railcard. Not sure how much it costs but it does give you a 1/3rd off. Thinks it's called two together and you can apply online

No railcard, Virgin trains do the route and get really good fares. Been told Travelodge Covent Garden is good location etc. not to stay at the Russell or National. Got plenty of time to sort

Ooh didn't know that maddie. We've got a family one which is great when dd travels with us (ds has student card) but would be great to have something for just dp and me. Will look it up.

just checking and it looks to be, without a mega sale, £60 return for us both. If we have a railcard its £34 so i guess if we were to do a rail journey elsewhere it might be worth getting

Am def getting the two person travel card maddie cos then we'll be covered for any combination of rail travel except middle aged no mates solo journey

Dp is having his tooth fixed today. I think it's a crown but it's costing over £600 so any savings we can make sounds good!

Seems to be the time for glitches all round. Quick question for any of you FF writers out there. Anyone got a problem with their Traffic Stats not working? Even when I've visited the stories myself nothing has been recorded for the past two days - which is odd. (Whispers - hope Jeffrey hasn't extended his reach beyond MD just like Mr Tickle!)
