Kelly here are some pictures of Harpenden for you! I kept giggling to myself all morning when we were walking round. I had to lose my friend at one stage in order to take the photos of the railway station and she would have wondered what on earth I was up to! I couldn't get onto the platform though without a ticket sorry. The picture of the house (with the garage) is where I decided CJ lived and then the row of cottages could be where Molly lived.

When we were having lunch, a man drew up in a blue Maserati. That could definitely have been CJ!

Two lots of washing done since I came back. I'll post a few pics of Lyon and Paris tomorrow.

Morning off to work 5yo is off on a trip with his holiday club. He's looking forward to it as its somewhere he's not been before.

Thinking about programs that I would watch continuously, was Cheers. Again like Our Girl it was the sexual tension. Sam and Dianne will they or won't they!

I went to the gym yesterday and this morning I could hardly get out of bed.!

Morning. So glad am off for the rest of the week. Isn't it an anti climax getting back to normal? Need to do some shopping this morning and start the ironing.....

I can't think of another programme that's stayed with me for so long. It's definitely the ability to talk to other nutters that's kept the obsession alive. The last series which I was completely in love with was North and South (or as pixie probably calls it A Bad Case of Piles) and I bought the dvd and watched it repeatedly, but even that died a death within six months.

ilove I hate that 'just back from hol' feeling. It takes a real effort for me not to remain slumped in despair for a few days.

Fab photos ice. You know if someone was to draw a face of manly perfection. CJ's face would be it. It's like its not real sometimes.

A couple of faces I saw last night on TV are a bit off putting. I watched that Scandalous programme from Monday night. Nick Medhurst's looked terrible in that wig and Aneurin Bernard so did look like Frodo Baggins pix, you're right. Prog not half as saucy as I was expecting.

ilove thanks for the great pics! It's strange seeing a place in RL you've imagined for ages in your head. Molly's house looks similar to where I thought she'd live. It looks such a pretty place. Definitely would love to visit the place one day.

That's how I feel about MK/LT and S2 still orph I'm afraid.

You could probably be the subject of a research paper kelly : The debilitating effect of Captain James on formerly sane, well balanced women. Actually, all of us could contribute to that.

Ditto to disappointment over lack of lustworthy men in Scandalous. Frodo was a dire choice - just wasn't believable that she'd risk everything for his bulging eyes. Shaun Evans looked particularly scrawny and weaselly and not having watched Bluestone I didn't recognise Nick bloke immediately. He was the best of a bad bunch though, but no gorgeous jawline like CJ. I found it all a bit depressing actually.

Wouldn't it be great if RPJ was one of the cast in new OG as maybe a Major or something. Him in combats alongside CJ would be a great feast for the eyes.

If anybody did a research paper in the effect of OG/MD\CJ on my brain *orph", they would indeed find complete debilitation! It would take Albert Einstein years to figure out and put back together in some normal state .

I think CJ has it, but Nick Medhurst is a pretty good consolation prize....

BBA knows OC's girlfriend so he could put a good word in the casting people to get the gorgeous Nick cast!

I'm wondering if we could have an ANZAC type platoon in S2 with Manu as Colonel Lego. Unfortunately his clothes would fall off in every episode leaving him in just his loincloth and roman sandals. A swimming pool scene would definitely be in order too.

I think Manu is all yours woof. I wouldn't want him sullying the beauty of CJ/NM.

I was thinking less of sullying, more of beefing up, throwing around and being downright bossy around the beauty of CJ/NM pix - a sort of enhancement of their juxtapositional loveliness against his raw earthy antipodean brutishness really.

Plus of course I like his ample muscles and his rock-hewn jawline

Maybe I'm not seeing NM's gorgeousness cos I didn't watch Bluestone, but surely you're not suggesting he's in the same league as CJ? Pleasant, yes. Drool worthy, no.

And of course, least said about Blockhead...

Ditto orph NM has an aura of Prince William about him which I find hard to find attractive. That's why I thought a slice of beefcake in the ANZAC division could inject a bit of testosterone into the mix.

I'm sure Manu would be very hurt by the blockheadism being displayed by some of you on here and I may need to comfort him very, very closely to my bosom.

Can I also add there will be a requirement for the Cornish Fusiliers commanded by Captain Poldark? There may be an urgent need for fresh supplies of pasties out in the African Bush if CJ/NM/Manu get a bit peckish - wouldn't want them munching on any old undergrowth, especially if orph is in one of her canny disguises
