About a month to go before it starts, and they've released the name of the first celeb.

Jamelia has just been announced.

Anita Rani. That's good, I like her.

Oh no, I can't stand Jamelia, what a pain she is, not sure what to make of the rest of them, where's the token popstar or have I mised that bit.

I'll have to look up Anita Rani Icimoi not sure who she is.

. Jamelia very irritating - she's been on a few panel shows and she's either rather stupid, or (worse) plays stupid.

I wouldn't count Katie Derhan as "older lady", she is quite glam 40ish

There is a guy from boyband the wanted (not a clue who he is) so there is your token popstar. Katie is my age I didnt think i was an older lady

Oh :( I love Strictly and now I won't be able to watch is cos of Jamelia and her fake pretending to be stupid, talking over people and acting like a child. Think she will do well cos she used to be in the music business and has a good/athletic figure. But she grates on me. Hopefully she won't have much of a following or get votes lol.

Anita Rani is from the One Show and lots of other BBC shows. And intelligent too.

SheHas just record it and fast-forward through Jamelia. That's what I used to do when Bruce was still presenting.

I always have to record it anyway as my DC simply don't understand the importance of being TOTALLY SILENT during the dancing bits.

That's a good idea. I never watch it live anyway and usually fast forward the VTs and live performers they have. Have sometimes watched the whole show in ten minutes!

I am a bit disappointed this year. I mean, Daniel O'Donnell?! Yuck.

I know what you mean MrsJamin. I think every year it gets just a little bit less celebrity and a little more desperate has-been. TBH some of the professional dancers are bigger celebrities than some of the 'celebrities'.

Is that it then? Are there any sportswomen?

I'm feeling a bit 'meh' about the line-up too - thank goodness we have Pasha and Aljaz to look forward to!

I've just seen that they are extending ITT on a Friday night and lovely Robin Windsor will be on it with Joanne Clifton who's now not dancing. I thought she was?

First time I've been disappointed with the line up of Strictly :(
Love the pro-dancers though.

I loved watching her do ballroom - there won't be as much of that this year.

I thought Joanne was great, a pity she isn't dancing. Tbh I think they should have given christina the shove for again having a fling with the celebrity last year! So unprofessional of her. I like trixie and also anita. I wonder whether their budgets for paying celebrities has been cut this year as there are a lot of BBC employees on the line up.

Oh is Robin not back this year i love Robin, wonder if the dancer that danced with pixie is back he reminded me of a ken doll kinda creepy looking i fast frwd them last year

Oh good he really gave me the creeps. Gutted joanne and Robin are not there this year they have personality as well as being great dancers

I'm not really bothered about the celebs, but is anyone else getting really excited about seeing Aliaz again?!

Maybe just a teeny bit although last year I learned he is my dds age it felt a bit wrong not that wrong though

Alijaz is amazing hope he has a fab partner. Looking forward to seeing Pasha and Tristan again.
