I think it will be a good one this year, not as much pantomime silliness (as long as Ainsley remembers that he is a contestant not a presenter )

So the oldest is Ainslie at 58, followed by Carol at 52? Nobody really old and nobody obese. But still entirely possible that somebody who's promising on paper will be a total shocker in the grand tradition of Victoria Pendleton.

Georgia looked iffy to me, and I'm already bored with her and Giovanni (Monkseal called then a cosplay Louisa and Vincent, but I suspect they're not a patch on that), and although I love Iwan to death I'm not convinced by the snippets of him I caught in the group dance - distinctly worried. Possibly this is the BBC's extremely subtle revenge on Olay - give her someone who looks good on paper but is actually a duffer. Praying that Jay will be half decent because I love Algona and she seemed so excited.

Me and DD LOVED the whole shebang tonight, and DH is glad that his favourite biscuit from Aldi is involved (Oatie).

I am really annoyed right now over a TV show!!

I've taken against Helen on the grounds that she seems insufficiently grateful for getting Aljaz. A response more like Jeremy's "thank you thank you oh thank you" would be more appropriate IMO.

She sounds different to on CtM - it's weird.

Helen George is very excitable I found her fangirling over darcey more annoying she obviously was a ballet dancer as a little girl

I usually like Iwan but he looked a little stiff in the group dance. The Wanted singer seemed more relaxed in the dance and I think we'll all grow to love (and mother) him. The pairs seemed quite good this year and I felt most people were please with their dancers. I thought the boxer looked disappointed. Jeremy Vine did okay also. I don't really understand why Peter Andre is doing it. If he does well, then that's a bonus,
But I feel he has more to loose then gain (and i actually quite like him
