There aren't many days when I come home from work and have to reach for the wine bottle, but today was one of them. You'd think that because I was off for two days, I would be calm and refreshed today, but I wasn't at all and people were just generally getting under my skin the entire day.

pixie I hope my tip re the tomatoes works for you.

Maybe I could be a guest presenter on Gardener's World? I promise I wouldn't wear that awful blue crumpled suit like Monty does.

Well, I then dozed off in front of the telly so I guess it did work. Mind you, I had cooked a mammoth tea as well. Got some ostrich steaks (reduced) in Tesco so thought I'd give one of them a try. Oh and the last of my own first early spuds and then a sponge pudding I'd made on Tuesday night.

Think I'm going to get my euros tomorrow ready for my holidays - the exchange rate is looking good just at the moment. The tickets arrived today as well so it's time to get excited.

I was obsessed mooj with Cpl Talbot. I know there's such a big cast but he's absolutely lovely and Cpl Tipper. He was lovely too in the first episode. I don't want to say too much about these characters in case you haven't seen the series before. But its such a fantastic series. I should watch them again.

Very thoughtful of you kelly but seen it before, although maybe not in as much detail as you! Although had a soft spot for Spiers. & Nix. Used to know a fair few people who were involved in the fight/explosion scenes in the winter forest scenes, nobody famous, just ex squaddies!
