'I don't think my dad believes in me' Sad

FiveGoMadInDorset · 30/06/2015 21:08

Yes, already feel sorry for this poor boy

flamingtoaster · 30/06/2015 21:09

Poor boy!

Emochild · 30/06/2015 21:09

The chinese cupping thing - my goodness.

TheFirstOfHerName · 30/06/2015 21:12

I'm going to be watching it with a delay. Marking place for later.

Emochild · 30/06/2015 21:13

I quite like the brothers -seem pretty grounded not that i'm jumping to conclusions

As usual a lot of the parents are barmy.

I wonder whether they'd enter themselves if there was just a Genius competition.

Emochild · 30/06/2015 21:24

Holly does not want to be there does she?

'My child doesn't like attention -I know, I'll put her on the tv!'

OP posts:
Emochild · 30/06/2015 21:24

Oh?

OP posts:
dementedma · 30/06/2015 21:24

Poor Holly. She looks terrified

chocomochi · 30/06/2015 21:25

Why is Holly putting herself through this? She looks petrified!

Pipbin · 30/06/2015 21:27

Please forgive me if I'm wrong but this isn't 'child genius' stuff but 'stuff we can remember'. Just being able to remember stuff doesn't make you a genius.

ImperialBlether · 30/06/2015 21:28

I don't know, Pipbin; it's not stuff you could just remember if there was no context. And the Maths questions certainly couldn't be pre-prepared.

DocHollywood · 30/06/2015 21:30

Damn! Missed first bit. Only seen a bit of Holly. She doesn't look a very happy child, poor thing Hmm

DocHollywood · 30/06/2015 21:31

I hate it when they go out in the early rounds if the later rounds are their strengths.

Pipbin · 30/06/2015 21:32

Ahh, I've only seen them doing general knowledge questions. I didn't see the other rounds.

In my opinion it should be problem solving and lateral thinking.

DocHollywood · 30/06/2015 21:35

Again, poor kids Hmm

dementedma · 30/06/2015 21:42

Thomas - bloody hell

Emochild · 30/06/2015 21:44

Wow -that was impressive!

OP posts:
TheFirstOfHerName · 30/06/2015 21:45

Why has she named one of her sons after a green leafy vegetable?

Pipbin · 30/06/2015 21:48

I find it interesting that the proportion of non white British children is much higher than in the population as a whole.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 30/06/2015 21:49

Wow. This is a hard (and pretty pointless) round.
