I bet if TG reads any of this he is probably laughing his head off at all our concerns. There again, if he has any sense he'll lock himself in his writing room for the next six months or so totally incommunicado and emerge at the end off December with a long straggly beard clutching his masterpiece!

We don't know that CJ really did resign, he only said it in his hospital bed in a morphine induced state. If screen writers can kill people off in soaps then bring them back, (Dirty Den and Sharon from EE) it's not beyond the whit of man to change someone's mind about a resignation. Wishful thinking of course. I went away for a while to decrompress. Fat chance of that now.....

Thanks ice so really even if LT did come back to this new series, they may not have had much screen time together anyway. I don't know-all this over thinking, did I say I was supposed to be potty training

Imagine if there was a series 3 and LT wanted to come back but BA was this huge star then in Hollywood. I wonder what we'd say then about no CJ.

Rhubarb01 I think that CJ once recovered has decided to stay in the army and that why TG has said That's the plan on Twitter last night...just a question of how the story goes now!

I'm still not quite sure what to make of it all, but there was a huge outcry about Mary leaving BS42 and being replaced, and that all worked out really well, with her as a completely different character. Also Nick left (which wasn't announced first - clever move) and despite my initial disappointment, it actually worked. I know it isn't the same, and I don't imagine that we will have the same completely and utter devotion feelings at the end of S2, I reckon TG will do good.

Ditto Nick we can but hope. And on a different note, if filming doesn't begin til Jan 16 and let's say BA is in, what on earth is he doing with himself for the 6 months inbetween? Why isn't he in anything else on tv at the mo? His agents defo need a rocket up their bum!

Lucky Man, that's the one (thank you google). It's listed in his cv that he'll be a policeman in it, not sure how big a part it is though no not that part, we all know how big that is

Sorry I'm late to the party. Read the Daily Mail article last night and freaked out. So disappointed LT won't be returning, to be fair it was her show really and the LT/CJ chemistry was fab. As for MK I think she is a good actress and is stunning, but then she went and started messy with her face and now I have to agree entirely with CJwoof's earlier comment. She needs to step away from the spray tan, false eyelashes and teeth whitening before filming. We've gone from a completely credible believable actress to a Barbie doll! V. Sad. If CJ isn't in it, don't think I will bother watching :(

How come actors like Sheridan Smith and Matthew McNulty seem to go from one drama to the next and never seem to be off our screens? Poor BA. I feel the need to cuddle him up and tell him things will be alright in the end then take very big advantage of his self pity and shag him senseless

Isn't BA doing some filming in the US? That Rivers Cuomo thing for Fox TV that was talked about a couple of months ago. Not sure when that is being filmed but could nicely dovetail into OG if it is finishing before the end of the year. I am clueless when it comes to counter intelligence so the spies among you probably have his calendar already written out for the next 6 month.

I'm happy to have another series and for BA to be in it. I hope TG gives him a big, meaty role with lots of character complexities and opportunities for lip-biting, angry glares, finger twiddling, eyebrow raising etc... Then I'll be guaranteed to watch it.

The script needs to be bloody good, gritty and real too. I need to be surprised and on the edge of my seat and worrying about it anxiously from one week to the next...

These are the things that will make me come back to it and might distract me from Miss Orange Tan Sugar Tits too.

Ice I thought BA was cast as Michael Sturges going back to College. Did they drop it before it was even filmed, it was only announced that he was cast in March?

I'm thinking I'll be fuming if I see lots of behind the scenes pics of BA and MK looking really pally. (Not in a dodgy way I know she's married) just cos I never saw any nice ones of BA/LT in real life when they were filming in SA. Sulk sulk.
