I really don't understand the way they have organised the schedule at all. In the end, light stopped play earlier than the commentary team thought it would last night. With play starting as late as 12.30-1 o'clock it seems daft to pack so many onto centre. Stands to reason, that the matches are less likely to be over-in-an-hour walkovers, when you have a field dominated by top 20 players. And the weather isn't 100% reliable.

And yy, Cilic. I'm sure a lot of people will forget he has won a slam . Will be a shock to some tv schedulers over there when he (as probably a seeding in the teens) walks out as the defending champion at the US open. They do like the big names in the States, - not so good for ratings if the big match is not one of the 'big four'.

Today should be good. If only it wasn't peppered with school pick -ups

And since the 'proper' tv coverage finishes at 6pm and not everyone ha access to it on the red button or other channels, it makes even less sense. in theory, Murray could be on after 6pm. That'll piss them off
