So who is going to do well this year? Stan has tough first round match against Kyrios......and Nadal is playing Dolgo I think?

I perve over Darren Cahill- although he's not ageing very well IMO. Im too old to perve over players (Stan, Giles Simon, Potro, a few others.....) so I look at the coaches!

Was reading a doctor who mag and thought Adric (Matthew Waterhouse) as he looks these days looks a lot like Wawrinka.

Konta lost to Bencic, but it was 3 set ( she did win the first).,

Shame really, but Bencic is very much on the up, so not a bad one to lose to.

Well, the draw is in progress- not seen the finished thing yet, I've seen Djok has Kohlshreiber in the first round, (shouldn't trouble Djok, but he is the world number 33, no no slouch). James Ward is due to meet Ferrer is the first round. So he might not get much further. And won't be able to wear his spotty socks

Was reading that Dan Evans was facing a potential fine for not trying hard enough to win a match. Even though he did ultimately win the match. I knew this was 'a thing' but have hardly ever seen it enforced.

Men's draw

Haven't seen the full women's draw, but poor Konta has Shrieky in the first round. I would be thrilled if she beat her. Though, if/when Maria loses, there is bound to be an excuse.

Nadal's route not as bad as I feared, should get to the 4th round without trouble. But what do I know? Bellucci might just beat him in the first round...

I am going to be careful who I support.

Grouchy it does seem very subjective. And how do you know a player isn't injured or exhausted?
Monfils quite blatently threw a set last year at RG to conserve energy, and Kyrgios at Queens last week against Wawrinka clearly couldn't be bothered. Stan was very scathing about that. Peculiar rule.

And if anyone should have been fined, it was Serena during her frankly bizarre matches at RG!

They are discussing the Wimbledon draw . They seem surprised that in order to get to the final , Murray has to actually play decent players. They have even admitted he usually gets easy draws.
