Looking forward to a great few weeks of tennis!! Should we be asking MNHQ for some balls!!

So who is going to do well this year? Stan has tough first round match against Kyrios......and Nadal is playing Dolgo I think?

Thanks, both.

Hurt myself a little. Just a large bruise on my back. Will go with all the other bruises I've accumulated in the past few weeks.

The kittens are very cute but they do have a bad habit of turning into cats, in my experience. Maybe being the main carer for them will help.

I just found a chocolate cake in the pantry so things are looking up!

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:19

I see Murray is chunnering.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:20

Cake sounds good.

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:20

Finding chocolate cake anywhere in this house would be a miracle - I think it must be a sign from above for you that your luck is turning :)

With any luck, your kittens may turn out to be the type of cats who keep a very low profile. We have such a cat - he was actually born here (in ds1's room, on the new carpet naturally) so you would expect him to feel quite at home. Instead, he's the most nervy cat I've ever come across, and despite being a hulking bruiser, is scared of absolutely everything and everyone in the whole world. Except for ds2, who out of all 4 of the dc, is the noisiest, most aggressive, most in-your-face teen you could hope to find. Go figure Confused. Anyway - the point I was trying to make is that you may get a similar cat who you hardly ever see. And hopefully not one like our other one who might as well have been surgically grafted onto us, so close does he trail us all

Are there any other top 100 players from Luxembourg? Can't think of any off the top of my head.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:26

juan I cannot think of any.

John has said there will be about a dozen floaters at Wimbledon so far this week.

InDespair · 19/06/2015 17:29

What happened in the crowd at the start of the Lisicki/Hanchukova match? Did someone faint or have a heart attack?

Also, Jamie Delgado is Mullers coach. awkward coaching tips from him to beat a British player in a British tourney when we want the Brit to win!?

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:30

Wonder what the umpire has got in his handbag?

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:32

I expect Muller pays well InDespair. I don't want the Brit to win ...

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:33

Did you see him interviewed before, despair. He basically said the LTA didn't approach him to coach, so he went where the work was. And good for him.

I suppose it's no different to Mauresmo coaching Murray At RG.

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:35

Wonder why they've roped Inverdale in to commentate.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:35

juan glad you said it,.Grin

I have never, ever I understood having to support the British player. I never have, not in 30-odd years of watching. They are very rarely the interesting optionGrin

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:38

Muller is proving to be more than just a serve here, which is nice to see.

I wonder if he would like to go after the Karlivic record set today? bet that was dull to watch!

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:42

Me neither Raahh. Not just to be awkward but, like you say, none of them have ever excited me. I did briefly take an interest in Andy when he was up and coming about ten years ago but it didn't last long. I have nothing against Andy personally, indeed, not knowing him, how could I? I actually think that off court he comes over as a nice witty dry man. But as a player? Nope don't like him at all.

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:47

Got to go to ds3's school play tonight - he plays a rat. I can't wait.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:48

juan that sums it up for me too. He was/is an amazing talent, but I sat through far too many matches in his early days where he would give up, call the trainer, whinge a bit. It got boring. By the time he stopped doing that ( as much) I really had no time for him at all.

Muller is the 4th most famous LuxumburgerGrin ever. Grin

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:49

a rat? Grin

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:50

Dd1 was a carrot once in a nursery production.

A carrot.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:53

Muller has nothing to lose, really.

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:55

Out of the top 5 most famous Luxembourgers (that can't be the right term can it Grin?) I've only ever heard of one. And that's Muller.

Oh John just answered the question about other players from Luxembourg in the top 100 - there aren't any. Their no.2 is at 659 I think he said.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:57

Well, Kudos to Muller for putting Luxembourg on the map. Grin

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:58

659? blimey. Do they have a Davis cup team?Grin

JuanPotatoTwo · 19/06/2015 17:58

Yes, a rat. One of 5 apparently. And none of them have so much as a word between them. It's going to be a long night I think ...

Ds1 once won the school Christmas fancy dress prize - he was a Christmas carrot.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 17:59

They are dumping Eggheads?Shock

Raahh · 19/06/2015 18:00

A Christmas carrot?Grin It's like being the second lobster in 'love, actually'Grin
