OK, after freaking the bejaysus out of me with the weird trailer / advert I am intrigued and looking forward to giving this programme a viewing.

(I will have to record and watch later as I will be watching Messrs Strange and Norrell.)

Anyone else looking forward to it and hoping it lives up to the hype?

LOVED tonight's episode. Poor Max do you think he'll be ok? Bloody Joe is a right knob and Detective had sex with a synth ha ha that'll teach him. Anyone know how many more episodes we've got left? Laura's brother dying when she was watching him do you think that's why she was so upset when 'Anita' said she'd take better care of Sophie?

I don't think he was shot with a normal gun, it was one of the ones used to disable synths so maybe electrical impulses or something. Poor Max!

Ah well I thought the shots were taken type things intended to disable but not destroy synths so would not have left a limp?

Someone up thread said something about black mirror, was it the one were her oh died but she was pregnant, and ended up ordering a replica oh based on his on line memories to give him character? That was very well done.

Oh yes, it was pretty obvious- and it definitely explains a lot. It was really moving when George put out his hand, and you could see her puzzled and doubting his intentions before deciding to trust him.

Yes whattheseithakasmean, I did notice it. Those scenes between Niska, George and Odi were quite special. Like George said, so many layers of messages, what was being told explicitely in words and what was not told but could be perceived (love, caring, trust).

The detective puzzles me. What's her agenda? Why did she blow her cover so soon? What does she think is going to happen to her when she finds Niska?

Also, I noticed how conveniently in the flashback from Leo's memory we never get to see his mother's face properly. I want to know more about what happened with that family. What was the nature of the mother's illness?
And what drove David insane to the point that he had to destroy his work and commit suicide? Any theories?

Love this series. Have been gripped from the start. Wonderful stuff. What a bastard the dad was What a horrible thing to do. Can't ait for next week.
