OK, after freaking the bejaysus out of me with the weird trailer / advert I am intrigued and looking forward to giving this programme a viewing.

(I will have to record and watch later as I will be watching Messrs Strange and Norrell.)

Anyone else looking forward to it and hoping it lives up to the hype?

I just had a thought - George, the anti-sentient-synth-er, abandoned his broken synth in the forest. Presumably it's the same forest that we saw in the first episode. I think Leo & co. are going to find him & fix him up a bit before using him to get George on side by suggesting that if they figure out the secret to giving them consciousness then he can have broken-synth back as his pretend son & they can go on reminiscing about Mary.

I would be very happy if they actually use that as a plot line and make Odi conscious. He is a nice synth. I like him more than that other horrible nurse.

It's kind of sad to think that Odi is still out there in the woods all by himself.

Liking all these theories -agree, Odi needs to feature again. Can't help thinking that there is something Synth-y going on with Laura and (dead? Re-animated somewhere?) Tom. She was veery resistant to getting a synth. More than just not wanting her position usurped I think....

Is creepy Dad really going to let his son take the blame for having sex with Anita? And why did he confess? Has he realised that it was his dad or does he think the time he tried to grope her activated her 18 mode?

The references to Asimov are coming thick and fast, which I quite like? Not sure if it is reverential or plagiarising though.

Two more thoughts;

Joe will now do something vindictive to hurt Anita.

Leo should have let Mattie have a go at helping bring Mia back. Obviously she will try something simple, but brilliant.

No, I don't think Laura is a synth. She is too emotional compared to a synth. Also, synths recognise other synths (like the nurse recognised Niska was a synth).

However, the detective seems to be even more sofisticated at hiding it, because she is able to work and be around synths all the time without them questioning why she doesn't share or saying she is not human.

Still not sure how the policewoman synth manages to get all her food and drink perfectly into that blue bag in her throat; I have enough trouble trying to pack my shopping in the supermarket. Maybe if she pushed it down and sort of folded it over around her mouth like when you line a waste rubbish bin.

Niska is reminding me of a female Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer) from Bladerunner now.

Yes... she is a female Roy Batty! I liked her philosophical discussion with George.
