Not quite sure what is going on as away in sunny tenerife so not watching at mo - but means I have 4hrs of viewing when back

I didn't hear the bit about it being in a bar - I thought he was talking about Billingsgate market where her dad worked! It did seem a little odd that anyone of any age would look at a 13 year old & decide that was the person they wanted to be with forever. Surely even a 13yo boy would just think "she's hot" or something, not "I must put up with all the crap she throws at me for the rest of forever."

I'm somewhat doubtful about Jade becoming a permanent resident of the square. I think she'll either end up with Dean or Shabnam & they'll leave the square. As much as EE is good with addressing some issues they tend to be short, hard-hitting storylines, not ones that last several years. All the cancer storylines are over with within 6 months max, either the person is cured with it not being mentioned again until they've run out of storylines or want to get rid of the actor or they discover they have cancer & only a few weeks to live. I can't see them asking such a young actress to portray a life-threatening condition on a regular basis. I don't know a whole lot about CF, other than the fact that there was a girl in my year with it who was said to be somewhat of a miracle to have made it to 21yo. I'm assuming medical advances are lengthening lifespans but I can't see EE spinning it out with regular storylines of hospital visits, illnesses, etc. until the actress or a new head is old enough or mature enough to deal with a death storyline. She'll be shipped off somewhere else, possibly to another country in search of better care, long before they get to that stage!

Agree Jade won't be around for the long haul. She'd just be in the child are cupboard anyway.

Buster has abit of depth too but it sure why he bothered to look at and destroy the d n a results. If he lies to dean and says he's not the dad he's not going believe him with the CF and unlikely given the nightmare family Shabnam would lie if wasn't him.

I think he's worried about Shirley & Dean getting clique-y without him. If they get Jade then Shirley's never going to abandon Dean & Buster will have to choose to either leave the "love of his life" or live with someone he knows to be a rapist ad infinitum.

Totally called the Cindy-under-the-bed scene! Grin It was obvious from the moment she disappeared & Liam said he'd not seen her. I can't believe he tried to convince Carol he had an eating disorder though - that's just low!

I'd quite forgotten Rebechloe even existed! She's not been seen since everyone forgot about Sonia & Martian sleeping together! He still doesn't quite feel like he fits. Probably because he's acting like a teenager trying to sleep with Stacey all the time. Wonder how long she'll be able to pretend she's even remotely interested in him...

What's going on with Roxy & Dean? When she kicked him out & he said it was just a ONS she got all defensive & insisted that's not what it was & that she really liked him... I assumed they were going to start an actual sneaking around relationship, not just have regular booty-calls whenever Gronnie leaves the house! Confused Also, why can they not find somewhere else to have sex? Surely there's a back room at Blades they could use after hours... Or do they always have to have sex in the middle of the day in the lounge with the curtains open?!

I was a bit Hmm at Roxy shagging Dean in the living room when she's got a perfectly good bed upstairs.

I want to give Stacey a good slap for all the dirty looks and mooning after Kush. She's been pushing Shabnam at him since he arrived.

Buster has Sussed Dean. Not sure what ripping up the DNA test will achieve though.

Urghhhh Tina makes my eyeballs itch. I can't watch get without swearing at the TV. She's 45 acting 12. She needs to grow up and why she's shoving at carols like a teen I do not know. The Stacey just thing is rushed and not believable. But then with the awful gurning moaning eye rolling and tutting moron shabs as the alternative who can blame him?

Roxy makes my skin crawl. She is just vile. I miss the days of ee when there were strong solid female characters like Pauline, lou, Cathy, angie, dot, Ethel. None of them had to murder or constantly shag anyone.

We do need another Lou Beale, i loved her. Very realistic, wasn't afraid to put people in their place, but she also had a really lovely caring side if there was a crisis.
You don't see that now, it's all drinking and crying and having sex.

The envelope had the DNA results for Dean and jade. Not sure what Buster hopes to gain by screwing them up. Presumably this means they were a positive match and Buster wants to protect Jade from his disfunctional family ?
