I was going with the cross dressing theory but now people have mentioned ballroom dancing I'm wondering if it could be that.
I did notice that Les was a suprisingly good dancer when at the party at the Vic but didn't think anything of it and now I'm remembering Claudettes very jealous, hurt expression when Les was dancing with Pam.

I do still like the cross dressing theory though...It would be interesting as it's one of the few stories EE has never covered.
I'm just not sure either Les or Claudette have the acting ability to carry such a big storyline off...They are truly shocking!!

It'd be really odd to keep ballroom dancing a secret for years, but probably EE have done dafter stories in the past.

I do not believe for one second that Les is a cross dresser.

I don't really think cross dressing. It just wouldn't really fit, plus the whole 10 minutes thing. Can't see it being ballroom dancing.

So it is something that means they go away each year, something that requires getting undressed, something that makes Claudette jealous when Les is with Pam and something he can't tell Pam about. Oh and he bought Claudette that necklace, was dancing with her before Paul left and is in debt. I'm stumped tbh because none of it adds up to anything other than an affair and it can't be that. Les is a terrible actor so hope it's nothing huge.

I reckon Libby has drpped out or failed something. Unless the secret is Chelsea's? But I don't think so because Libby didn't tell Denise after she was banging on about how she thinks about her when she is down.

I agree, it's not cross dressing. They're casting a transgendered actor for that storyline. It's not Les.

Now I'm thinking maybe he's ill? Maybe he has the same illness his son had and he needs some kind of therapy or something to keep him relaxed that Claudette does for him. He doesn't want Pam to know he's ill so confides in Claudette.
The holiday was a hospital trip for his illness. The look Claudette gives Les and Pam when they're dancing isn't that of envy, it is of helplessness that Les is ill and no one can save him and poor Pam will be left alone.

I'm starting to think it's something innocuous like ballroom dancing. Perhaps a yearly competition in Lanzarote ? He didn't tell Pam because she's a crap dancer and he doesn't want to hurt her feelings ? I'm sure its going to be something and nothing.
There's no way either of those actors could pull off a serious story line.

Ballroom dancing doesn't make sense. Pam has actually said she loves dancing hasn't she? Having said that, there have been a few references to dancing in Pan/Les/Claudette scenes.

Maybe that's the problem? Pam loves to dance so les doesn't want her to know he dances worn clay d'être

Claudette's living room wasn't big enough to do dancing. And though I know there's some odd people around but to be desperate to dance for 'just a few minutes'?

Haven't watched in ages and having a look tonight. What's going on?? Why is Shabnam pregnant? Why is Max in prison? Did we ever find out if Linda's baby is Dean's or Mick's?

Shabnam is pregnant with Kush's baby.

Creepy yet strange scene tonight when Claudette looked into Matthew and said something about him being adorable and shame his mum was a Mitchell I get the feeling DTC is building up for another massive and shocking storyline. Let's face it - Emmerdale has the helicopter crash to beat and RE has to top the Lucy Beale storyline somehow!

As an aside, why would Claudette know Cathy is alive and who is Gavin?
