I think all the rivalry within the police will lead to evidence being thrown out or a mistrial. My theory is that they're leading up to someone getting off on a technicality but everyone believing they did it and ending the storyline like that (for now anyway).

Whose office did Phil and Abi go into for their little chat?
And why were the desk lamps on when it was the middle of the day, and there was nobody in there?

I used to quite like Abi. But I now can't stand her.. I am sure this will lead the arrest of Max and that is how they will allow him to take their extended break.

Yeah, you're right, it must have been the car lot office. But why did they get rid of Max's lamps? I always coveted those.

I have completely lost track of and interest in who killed Lucy. There was the nine month lead up, full of red herrings, then the supposed reveal, and now five months later the producer has come back to it to milk it again until everyone is so confused they don't care.

It's made the live episode reveal seem a bit of an anti climax.

I'm glad Charlie's leaving. I thought it was woeful miscasting and he always seemed far too wet for Ronnie in his sensible jumpers and his worried lamb face.

Oh gawd I totally agree, missbattleaxe, I couldn't give a monkeys now about the whole Lucy thing. Haven't we BEEN through all this for, like, the last 10 years (it seems)?

I had a horrid thought tonight about the 'murderer' Hearing that Jake also hit Lucy on the head, that means she received several blows to the head, all of which possibly contributed to her death. I hope that's not the course they're taking, once all the pieces are put together! Not one person responsible, no actual murderer.

Wouldn't it make more sense for Jay to go off on his own and sort something out so Lola and Lexy could join him later ? I hate these sudden exits where people leave without a moments care to the practicalities involved.
I think there's another twist coming. Why did Phil hand in the wallet ? maybe Phil bashed Lucy too and is framing his gay murderer son.

This Claudette and Les story feels like it's dragging now. Hope we find out their secret next week.

I don't understand how the police - after over a year - are suddenly hauling all these millions of suspected murderers in. Was it like the world's longest tea break and suddenly they decided to do some investigating?

I actually wish it hadn't been bobby who had killed lucy. I think it should have been ben and never bobby. So on reveal night when we found out it was ben, that should have been phils realisation about his son and him handing in the wallet etc then.
I think this has all shown a human side to phil-the fact he loves his son but knows something isn't right etc. It showed even he had limits. But now he is going to go back to the hardman thing and act like everythings fine with ben.
Ben is going to be angry with phil and I wonder if this is kathys entrance call. If she hears what phil has done and ben could go down for a murder he didn't commit she may come into it.

Also wish it wasn't Bobby - but he did the final blow but all the others didn't help plus jane moved the body so she should be done as well

I wondered was that it for them leaving. I knew Lola was leaving but not Jay. Bit crap really. She didn't say bye to Billy, Lexi had hardly any stuff. Hardly realistic.

Watched it this afternoon no pushchair no toys zilch bags except a rucksack meh rubbish exit, you gotta laugh at Roxy going on about faahmily when she shags every bloke that Ronnie looks at, dh who doesnt watch it said its george from george and mildred no its not
