Welcome to our madness Dizzydots. We are actually quite sane individuals who hold down jobs, look after children, parents and the like. Absolutely no sign of decompression! Have you been lurking since the beginning or did you pick us up part way through?

Onlygirljen · 08/06/2015 12:22

Welcome dizzydots! I love that we're still picking up new recruits all these months on! I lurked for a good couple of months before I got the guts to post on here or upload ff - it feels good to delurk!

Nickel45 · 08/06/2015 12:39

Hi dizzy ... good to have you with us :)

I am none of those things you listed either! But just love being on here! I definitely agree it is this thread and the ff that's more addictive than OG at the moment ... dare I admit, but I haven't actually watched an episode for ages! Mind you, the CJ I have built up in my mind from the ff is sufficient at the moment!

It's quite amazing really, like ilove says, we are all probably quite normal, respectable grown-ups in RL, with proper jobs and responsibilities and the like ... but this is such a brilliant outlet for our madness!!! Although, I suspect a lot of us have partly blown our "respectable grown-up" cover by laughing out loud at our phones in the school playground, at work, in the supermarket .... or it that just me!??!?!

Dizzydots · 08/06/2015 13:00

Thank you for your welcome ladies. I've been with you on and off since agm planning days but am now totally hooked and yes, can often be found lol-ing at my phone at inappropriate moments Smile, or spluttering tea all over my computer! Feels good as you say jen, don't really know why it took so long X

icemistOBE · 08/06/2015 13:16

Hi Dizzy so glad you de-lurked Smile

ilove I hate black pudding!! I can't even taste it. I prefer white pudding but really hard to get over here.

Let's have some smouldering serious CJ Grin

Hi ice thanks for your encouragement.....and the pics. His Gorgeousness never disappoints Smile

cjwoofwoof · 08/06/2015 14:05

Ooh welcome dizzy absolutely love your name (and so apt for this Thread). Nickel is quite right, we are all quite normal, respectable, well brought-up ladies on here, except of course orphan who is totally bonkers and often drags me down to her level of smutty beyond underneath lowness. And that's not easy when you're the Duchess of Cambridge in RL Grin

Loving those pics ice above and beyond as per.

Jen I'm in danger of exploding with ovary-busting frustration if you don't hurry up and update your Seeking Assistance. I'll never be able to clean my French Doors again without imagining CJ being pressed against them with me underneath A superb read.

orphan · 08/06/2015 14:57

woof don't you mean your French drawers?Wink

Hi dizzy! Bravo for delurking. Yes, of course we are all sensible and respectable members of society in RL, other than that reprobate woof who is a clear and present danger to anything in trousers not that they'll be in trousers for long if she gets hold of them The problem is that RL has definitely taken a back seat...

cjwoofwoof · 08/06/2015 15:13

I think you'll find if you check back in the Thread, orph that even I drew the line at Nicholas Witchell being invited to the wrestling, and that American actor with the man-boobs.

Talking of the wrestling, can I invite Antony Starr from Banshee? He's definitely worth an invite as he spends most of each episode showing off his very fine bum.

Ilovelblue · 08/06/2015 15:59

My goodness, Greenstuff has published another one! Not read it yet but she is amazing!

orphan · 08/06/2015 17:22

Hmm woof I fear you only said no to Nicholas because you'd already checked out his credentials and left him half the man he used to be. A specialist crime squad are still investigating his allegations that the Duchess of Cambridge wearing crocs and fishnets pushed his Royal correspondent duties to the very limit.

cjwoofwoof · 08/06/2015 17:36

Bleacccch! No that definitely wasn't me orph . You might be confused by what happened between me and Prince Harry in Las Vegas a couple of years ago. Now that was a little embarrassing but he did finally escape unscathed and I settled for the elder brother who had more prospects.

The only redhead I wouldn't say no to is The Sausage in Brody mode.

orphan · 08/06/2015 17:38

Just read greenstuff's. It's as wonderful as ever. I love her style of writing - it seems very natural and unforced.

Feeling incredibly tired today. Ds had two A level exams today and I think I've exhausted myself worrying and thinking about him. Of course, according to him they were 'fine', which to be honest in his lexicon could mean anything from failed to A*!!

Dizzydots · 08/06/2015 17:47

woof and orphan I have loved you from a distance all this time and can now finally tell you how brilliant you are Smile Smile never doubted for a minute that you are normal respectable and sane-ish

orphan · 08/06/2015 17:48

Yes you see that's where we differ woof. I still wouldn't share a cream tea with The Sausage even in Brody mode rather than neck- bigger -than -head Henry VIII role. Which reminds me, I wonder what's happening with Homeland? Rupert's worried that he needs to start looking at Widow Twankey Panto jobs. If he does, can he borrow something from your wardrobe? Mines not suitable for a family audience.

orphan · 08/06/2015 17:55

Hee hee dizzy. I like that you qualified the 'sane'! Sane is not a term used very frequently by the team of psychologists who are responsible for ensuring woof and I can be seen in public.

pixieg1rl · 08/06/2015 17:56

Disappointed at the lack of attractive men on the train home. All paunches and pinstripes.

cjwoofwoof · 08/06/2015 18:24

Get you pix wanting jam on your scone - I'd be grateful to have an Adonis one way at least Grin

Dizzydots · 08/06/2015 18:24

Not sure I know what sane is anymore Orphan, in my world everything's become increasingly bonkers, OG has a lot to answer for!!

KeziaOAP · 08/06/2015 18:28

RL has got in the way for a few days Hmm. Catching up with FF, Jen fab steamy chapter Grin.

Welcome Kelly really enjoying your story. Welcome dizzy I too lurked for quite a while before joining in, as others have said we're all respectable ladies, some folk may not agree.

pixieg1rl · 08/06/2015 18:31

I want the full cream tea, you know that woof.

cjwoofwoof · 08/06/2015 18:51

orph not sure whether my patchwork lune pants and black leather bustier would fit Rupert, but he's welcome to open my wardrobe doors and peer in any time he likes Grin

cjwoofwoof · 08/06/2015 18:55

Should've taken a sneaky pic on your phone this morning pix of Rowing Mans thighs/legs then it would've given you something to ogle on way home tonight if there was a lack of man totty. That's what me and orph did in a similar fashion when we accidentally went in the men's toilets on gymnastics tours

Rhubarb01 · 08/06/2015 19:30

Evening all! Welcome Dizzy! Sorry to break into the humour with something more serious - well not in the big scheme of things but from our point of view.

Just having an indignant fuming moment at the BBC. I did a little moonlighting over on the Home Fires thread - tried to get some discussion going but it's not really happening. However, someone just said that it's been recommissioned which I checked and that is the case. Now let me just say that for all its predictability and little historical inaccuracies I do like it as period Sunday night drama so glad to see it returning - lovely hair! However, reading over the press bit from ITV it seems they've recommissioned it on the basis of 6.2 million viewers per week and being the best performing Sunday night drama for them since Downton. Oh for goodness sake BBC - didn't OG get 3-4 million up against Downton? There was nothing predictable about OG definitely not your usual Sunday night drama fayre. Come on now pull your finger out - don't say anything woof or Orphan - and make the LLC's very happy.

Fume over - please continue. Will run off stage left - pursued by a bear!
