10 June, cannot wait for this.

Anyone else going to watch?

I will! I'm in 2 minds though - the twist at the end of season 2 felt a bit desperate & seemed to only serve to prolong the story. I love this though so I'm hoping this season will still be worth watching. Hannibal gives me the heebeejeebees but he's utterly brilliant in how calmly psychotic he is.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/05/2015 15:03

Yes def. on holiday then but will set on planner

donemekmelarf · 26/05/2015 15:06

I hope they don't mumble as much in this series. I've never watched anything with so much mumbling.
And I can't always understand his accent so I hope he speaks more clearly this time around.

Other than that, yes I'm looking forward to it.

FannyPlant · 26/05/2015 15:08

I've never seen it but will be watching solely for Richard Armitage Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/05/2015 15:52

Ending was fab last episode

And I subtitle it - same with revenge as they all bloody whisper

donemekmelarf · 26/05/2015 17:17

Subtitles. Why didn't I think of that Blonde Smile

I hope it doesn't have too much of Gillian Anderson in it. I never like her in X Files.

Nolim · 26/05/2015 17:19

Yay!

glenthebattleostrich · 26/05/2015 17:24

I've decided to give it another go, nothing to do with the lovely Mr A

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/05/2015 17:34

Brains and beauty Wink

Think ga is in it a lot as they run away together - didn't she have something to do /push the agent out of the window!!?

Ownerofalittlechimp · 26/05/2015 20:37

Think it was the young girl Abigail who pushed Alana Bloom out the window.

Oh that's right. Think need to rewatch last one again to refresh

Rem it was very good

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/06/2015 19:50

Just had a recap

Black detective jack dead in wine cellar - but we knew that as saw him dead in episode 1

Abigail pushed the lady out of the window

Hannibal then gutted will - who obv lives

Hannibal then slit Abigail's throat

And he walks away into the rain where other lady is semi alive

Then you see Hannibal and GA the therapist are on the plane - possibly going to France

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/06/2015 19:42

Tho seems jack isn't dead ..........

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/06/2015 10:56

It's on tonight. Can't set planner from Abroad ahhhhhhhh - but will find on demand

Skeppers · 10/06/2015 11:08

Looking forward to it here too. I hope they tone down the ceaseless drumming this time though; no wonder we couldn't make out what anyone was saying- the music track was so intrusive!

Lweji · 10/06/2015 11:12

I have it here earlier and have recorded it, but I haven't been able to go through episode 1 after the last GoT episode.
So far, it's in Europe, not the US.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/06/2015 11:14

Think they are flying to Paris at end of s2

Not sure how jack is alive as throat slit and bleeding for past hour while Hannibal is stalking round the house

Lweji · 10/06/2015 22:59

"My wife and I would love to have you for dinner"

You never know what is actually meant...

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 11/06/2015 11:20

I think last night episode 'sold' me the GA ending last series a bit more. I think the twist made no sense (to me) & just seemed like a way to prolong the story & get it to a 3rd series. But, while I think the psychology behind why she's with him is waaaaay beyond my simple brain's limits, that episode made her position a little bit more plausible. Still a total head f@@k tho! Mads Mikklesen (sp?) is brilliantly psychotic, scares the shit out of me watching him. It's the eyes. Totally dead, cold eyes. It does make you wonder how jack & will were initially taken in by him, cos the eyes just give nothing away as to who he is/what he's thinking. And the arrogance that goes with them. I just can't read what he's thinking when he looks at someone, other than wondering how best to season their flesh Grin

Lweji · 11/06/2015 14:50

I am struggling with the flashbacks, as they are not remotely obvious.
I hope I can keep up with it, because my poor brain just wants to relax at the end of the evening.

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 11/06/2015 20:20

I did too actually - I was confused about Eddie Izzard, for some reason I thought he was dead by other means. I'll need to go back over previous series to remember bits.

beadybaby · 11/06/2015 20:40

Is everyone as confused as me then? I have followed the last two series but still spent the whole episode racking my brains to keep up.

Still the most beautifully shot, atmospheric thing on TV so will keep watching.

I love Gillian Anderson though- some women don't get really breath taking till the over 45.

Yogasuz · 13/06/2015 19:33

Just caught up, Gillian is truly gorgeous isn't she?! Both DH and I have a mutual appreciation of her stunningness Smile Loved her in The Fall series.
It will be interesting seeing more of the dynamics of her and Hannbal's relationship with the glimpses they're now giving of the past and present...

NadiaWadia · 17/06/2015 04:14

Yes I was a bit confused about Eddie Izzard's character too. Guess that scene was a flashback, but I didn't remember he died like that, either.

It is shot in a very arty way, but is it a bit style over substance, I wonder? Although it has kept me interested but sometimes I am a bit confused about what is going on. It is a bit gruesome for my tastes, but I suppose that's unavoidable considering it's about Hannibal the Cannibal.

I always have to have the subtitles on when watching as Mads whatsit is brilliant, but my goodness he does mumble!
