finally watched, ready for tonights, gawd he does mumble , subtitles at the ready

was eddie a flashback? i thought he was still alive and rem he ate his own leg last time, saying he didnt think he would taste like that , or words to that effect

but guess he wasnt on the plane with them, so must be a flashback

why did ga kill that man, is that why she went away with hannibal?

and wish the music in background wasnt so loud, kept turning volumne down them up as they spoke, so put subtitles back on

I haven't managed to get to watch episode 2 yet, so will probably do it later tonight, after you all!

tv guide showed a pic of laurence, so assumed he somehow managed to live after having throat slashed

think the lady who fell out of the window called for back up, so maybe police literally came and saved him??

Last night was ridiculous and so graphic I think I might give up if it doesn't get better next week. Even Dh sighed and he loves it usually.

I had to turn my eyes away as he prepared to slit her throat.

I wonder if Lawrence will be like the girl (forgot her name)...

But I may stop watching when Dolarhyde comes along. I love Richard Armitage too much, and not sure I'll bear it.

Didn't like that episode much - What's happened to will's determination to get Hannibal nailed cos he's, y'know, a psychotic murderer who eats people? 'I forgive you'? 'You don't know which side I'm on'? Really? A bit more 'detective work' actually tracking him down might have been a bit easier to follow - turn up at a body dump with police crawling all over & of course Hannibal is hanging around at the scene evading all those police officers...

So SO much blood, and I'm totally confused as to what the hell is going on right now. A beautifully shot show but I'm struggling to find the plot in these first two episodes.

I have to watch this programme with subtitles as well Nadia. There is a LOT of arty mumbling.

Did the couple eat the man with the knife in his head. Why did Hannibal kill him?

The man in the cellar was weird and even more so the lady staying here looking after him

So, the man in the cellar killed Hannibal's sister, which is apparently how he got to be the nasty sociopath killer that he is (sure).
Hannibal left him in charge of the woman, who hadn't felt able to kill him. (I forgot why she'd want to - did he abuse her as well?)

I think they ate the man with the knife in his head at the dinner with the other people.
And he will go through all the italian art/libray thing committee until nobody is left, probably. (I haven't been paying much attention to the details, while MNetting...)

Think the woman said h wanted to kill him but woman stopped him and h said his life was in her hands - so as chained up woman had to visit him or he would die

Didn't the Italian policeman die in the catacombs so was the part last night with him and Jack another flashback? Very bored of all the unnecessary confusion, drumming and weird film sequences. It's too arty and hard work at the moment. Will carry on though!

I thought the policeman and Will had gone opposite ways and Hannibal followed Will and left when Will said he forgave him. I assume he was still alive.

But, yes, it all goes too slow and too cryptic and arty, and in quiet voices, and dark. I think I missed most of Season 2 at some point, and not sure about this.

I haven't read this page as I'm just about to switch on Ep2 but also found Ep1 a bit confusing and mumbly but loved the wonderful scenery and costumes and Mads' beautiful face in general.
