I have two episodes to watch. I started watching the first one but have been v busy lately so it was quite late and I couldn't concentrate enough to take it in. I'll report back once I've managed it!

first of all all those fbi men who died in the ambush, no need for it, hope will felt bad

was no one watching the house at the end and go and help them, or shoot TF while he tries to kill Hannibal and will

plus sure with the first knife in his neck and the amount of blood would will have bled out asap and when he stuck the knife in TF while he was fighting with Hannibal, why did will put knife in his back and not neck/slash throat

was good how they both killed TF and the ending with will throwing them both off the cliff was good

isnt Hannibal alive in all the other versions?

My heart, it aches! Oh that look on Hannibal's face as he hugs Will, and the head roll, & the not putting up any resistance. It was just beautiful, like he was exactly where he wanted to be, whatever then happened. What a perfect ending & a gift for the fanfic world

Was that how you read it Blondes? I thought it had been done to her, hence why she was hiding the fork, with the idea bring Hannibal might have survived. And there were three place settings...

So Hannibal escaped and went after his ex. Cut her leg off but then who cooked it and put on the table - and waited for them to come Back after they had killed the tooth fairy?

So would have been will and Hannibal eating her?

How pissed off would you be - 'I cut my own damn leg off and you went over the cliff with your murder husband so I cut it off for nothing'

I think there was a possibility that the other settings were for Hannibal's aunt and uncle. And there were mutterings that David Bowie was going to play the uncle, which is a thing I need in my life.

I just keep watching the final scene over and over again on Youtube - that look on Hannibal's face just gets me every time.

Surprised they killed Hannibal as he's meant to be serving life in prison

Then again he gave his self up in this series and didn't in the films

I thought it was a man who touched the fork. I replayed it a couple of times and it looked a man's manicured hand, which made me think it was Hannibal. And the table was set for three. Maybe Will and Hannibal survived - I don't know how - and it was Hannibal who cut Bedelia's leg off and roasted it.

She looked impossibly glamorous. I don't look like that and I haven't had a recent amputation

Waves back. I nearly missed the final scene except for once I didn't delete it straightaway but went on a review site and they mentioned it. All the other reviews missed it.

I can't see how Hannibal and Will survived, but who knows. I couldn't believe the blood either. I remembered Hannibal's line about blood looking black in the moonlight from the first series (I think it was) and then Will repeated it, which was clever.

It's fun for the makers but annoying when they do that. I always caught the ones at cinemas if I went with my mum though because she wanted to wait until the lights came on so she didn't forget anything - and have a look round to see if anyone else had left anything behind

I caught one by accident on The Walking Dead where Morgan was following Rick's group - which was a surprise because everyone assumed he'd been written out. It made me wonder how many times they'd done that.

Moral of story

Always watch/ff the credits to the end just incase :)

I wish they hadn't put that scene with Bedelia in at the end. It just confuses the issue. Apparently the director thinks it implies that at least Hannibal survived (how?), and it was to set them up for a fourth series (they made the last episode before they knew they'd been cancelled).

Which is a shame, as the pre-credits final scene of Will throwing himself and Hannibal off the cliff, after showing his feelings for him, was very dramatic and just about perfect, IMO.

I'm not sure how I feel about Will now, though, all the way through you kind of identified with him, and I thought he was basically a good guy. I can see that Hannibal was fixated on him, but the other way round, really??

It's a bit disturbing, as Hannibal, no matter how intelligent and cultured he appeared, etc, was basically a fairly disgusting monster, and I think now that the whole series was glamourising him. I feel a bit unclean for watching now!

I keep rewinding and watching

More I watch the more I think B aka GA is looking forward to eating her leg
