given recent form, things look less than great for Nadal-but he likes the big stage and slams are a different beast to other tournaments.

So- new thread to talk ( mostly) about tennis- though it's not compulsory., and we all have different favourites and respect that others might not love our favourites as much as we do.

so...a week to go. May Murray be less tired, Rafa more confident , and a happy tournament be had by all.

Though, on a serious note, earlier this year ds found out Dh isn't his dad. Which was never intentional, it was just never the right time to tell him. He is fine with everything now, but the weekend he found out was difficult.

In typical 12 year old boy fashion, he soon moved on to worrying about girls and avoiding homework

Lol Raahh. I found out my Dad wasn't my bio by coming across my adoption papers, aged 18. Parents wouldn't discuss it, said it wasn't my business. Not the best.

Used to it, Raahh. My 'lovely' mother told me when I asked about it that I was everything she didn't want to be reminded of.

Apparently also I was adopted by her & step-dad as she didn't want my little sisters being upset & jealous at me seeing my bio dad. Makes no sense to anyone but my parents I think.

Probably never helped that I am the female version of my bio father. I wouldn't know !

After I found out I found that not only did all family know, obviously, except me & sisters, but also most of the town we lived in.

My family aren't the best.
