Did anyone else wonder where their last 10 years went last night? Caught it by accident (way past my bedtime), then was glued. God, that was part of my life - young, single, City wine bars every night... Now I just feel old, married and staying home every night with a baby.....! How DID that happen?

Funny I didn't fancy miles or egg at all - I only fancued the gay ones. Watching it now Anna seems a bit of a cliched I don't give a f*&^ type woman, but rachel was deplorable - what a fab character. I want more of warren - was so fab when he came back at the very end. I remember being intrigues and dissappointed thst it ended on such a cliff hanger so am desperate to know what has happened!

When DS was born (now 7) I used to video the episodes (they were being repeated) and watch in a mindless breastfeeding haze so has a very special place in my heart!

Always remember that last scene of Millie whacking Rachel in the mouth because she'd told egg about o'donnell .... pure class, one of the best fight scenes ever shown

I hate rachel - I remember people like that at universtiy that everyone liked and I felt bad for hating but hate I did - something about the overfamiliarity makes my skin crawl - but I am a bit of a bitch.

dimpledthighs - you seem as obsessive about this as me! referring to my previous post - my dog died this year - he was called Ferdy as he was a long haired german shephered - sppoky that it appears the funeral in the 10 years on episode is going to be Ferdys - when when when will they tell us when the new episode is going to be on - am bursting with excitement!!

i can see the appeal of Ferdy..but i wouldnt say he's my type. I think i only watched until this episode in the good ole days.Spoilers please! Cant wait for the fight between Millie and Rachel, she is sauch a Bitch, Rachael i mean. Millie is just so dignified though she is starting to show her jekyl and Hyde side.

Not read whole thread yet but just catching This Life really took me back - some very good years, worked with a really nice group of people, out socialising, fancied the pants off Miles.

Used to work with my dh - he used to wear 3-piece suits, was dark haired and made me think of Miles a bit (sigh). He caught me staring at him when watching the other night, couldn't exactly say that I was just thinking he wouldn't fit that suit now and the dark hair's gone grey!!!!

So true Housemum, it's happened to us all. Well me anyway. I finally gave in and took my wonderful size 8 Jigsaw suit (circa 1996!) to the charity shop the other day, having spent a good half hour crying over the teency tiny skirt I could once get into. Sigh.

oh housemum housemum housemum - not miles you should fancy ferdy (oh apart from the gay thing) - I cannot see the appeal of Miles one bit - I won't go into details incase you think I am being mean baout your husband, but I love ferdys muscly body and uncliched gayness. Loved the plumber bit last night - how cool is that! Think I am going to ruin my christmas by knackering myself out trying to watch all the episodes, usually fall asleep on the sofa during the second one.

Love the music, love Anna (but we are supposed to I guess), don't like miles or O'Donnell and seriously miss Miles.

And I was going to post the same thing as you - hope it's not AIDS that would be just a soap opera story line. Perhaps a jet-ski accident on hols or something. Quad-biking. Bungee accident. Mugging gone wrong. Tropical disease while backpacking. Terminal non-AIDS illness. Anything but the lets-give-a-gay-bloke-AIDS cop-out.
