I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

Keith Duffy is lush

MrsUltracrepidarian · 06/05/2015 19:46

Just loved the scene with Gail and 'im coming home form honeymoon with all the bombshells of her three kids... Grin

thenightsky · 06/05/2015 20:18

Ha, me and DH had a bet on that the vicar would end up giving up his job. They all give up their jobs if they are not on The Street.

He'll end up packing at the knicker factory or working in the kebab shop.

so boring and predictable.

SymphonyofShadows · 06/05/2015 20:32

It's so predictable at the moment, I wish they would get rid of Sarah and the wretched daughter. The dog has some comedy potential though

MrsUltracrepidarian · 06/05/2015 20:51

Dog yy.
I hate the way Michelle rolls her eyes at everything Steve does - really patronising - she treats him like a child - no wonder he seeks comfort with a dog...

DuckChowMein · 06/05/2015 22:00

And - surprise surprise - the wedding reception will be at The Rovers! Grin

Clawdy · 06/05/2015 22:27

So Sarah is prepared to put up with Callum grabbing her round the neck, snarling, in front of her family - for the second time.....

SymphonyofShadows · 06/05/2015 22:48

Looks like it, Nick should have knocked him out

DuckChowMein · 07/05/2015 06:43

None of them reacted to that. Why is it all about pleasing Callum? The sooner he's out of the picture the better

Pyjamaramadrama · 07/05/2015 07:34

I was going to say about Callum grabbing Sarah, what was that all about? Nobody said anything, Sarah's known him all of 5 minutes and she obviously doesn't mind.

I feel quite sorry for David, at some point Callum will have to sod off as there's no way he's got Max's best interests at heart. I didn't mind him at first but his acting is now crap.

SymphonyofShadows · 07/05/2015 07:35

I reckon it will get to the point of looking like he will get custody of Max when Kylie will return. Wish they would hurry up though, it's tedious and annoying.

DocHollywood · 07/05/2015 07:39

Agree, I hate the message that the grab has given. Hmm

Ladytron · 07/05/2015 12:12

I just don't know why they always open the door to Calum. Baffling.

woodhill · 07/05/2015 12:15

why is Tony best man for Steve. what about Lloyd or Andy even if they give him a new head.

HirplesWithHaggis · 07/05/2015 12:39

Steve wanted Lloyd, but Tony had just lent him £10k to pay his tax bill, and Liz thought it would be nice.

Agree re Callum and his violence, annoyed everyone seems to find it acceptable.

TillyButton · 07/05/2015 14:10

Callum is like some comedy gangster though, it must be hard to act threatened by him ,perhaps they are trying not to laugh .Kirsty played menacing much better imo.

eddiemairswife · 07/05/2015 14:42

Callum appears to be overacting to look menacing, and only succeeds in looking silly. With regard to Max's phone ... does David know about it? I think it plays a part in a forthcoming episode.

southeastdweller · 07/05/2015 18:20

I agree that nobody saying anything when Callum grabbed Sarah was ridiculous. To me it's another example of the writers dumbing-down Gail.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/05/2015 18:56

Just watching yesterday's. I am amazed to see Lily is actually on screen. Who let her out of her cage?

OP posts:
OneEyedWilly · 07/05/2015 21:25

Lily made an appearance, I almost fell off the sofa!

woodhill · 08/05/2015 18:14

I surprised Lilly hasn't fallen down the stairs, there are never any stair Gates in soaps or any baby things in the Platts.

squoosh · 08/05/2015 19:41

It's quite sweet that Todd is sticking up for Julie.....even if in order to do so it means making sinister threats to poor Mary.

DocHollywood · 08/05/2015 20:20

I'm stopping watching as of now and will keep up to date via this thread! The episode that's just aired was abysmal. Why are the scriptwriters insulting our intelligence with the Callum/Platt storyline? The family just lurch from one unlikely disaster to the next and this one is a step too far. Sarah calling him her 'boyfriend' and Callum finding Max in a matter of seconds. Ridiculous!
Andrea and Michelle 'plotting' about the best man and Mary's motorhome being towed away and Emily gasping for breath and quoting the bible. I despair.Hmm

MrsUltracrepidarian · 08/05/2015 20:44

Loving Steve and the dog. That is proper Corrie.
Re Callum : letting David and kids in his car - this this part of the syndrome where everyone who arrives as a villain ends up being good - numerous examples.

HirplesWithHaggis · 08/05/2015 23:59

Did he have a baby seat for Lily though?
