I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

So completely fed up of corrie. Gave it a miss for a few weeks and tuned back in to see horrible faye, Sarah, bethany and Michelle. This has got to be corries lowest point ever.

cleanmachine · 02/05/2015 19:09

Am sad Carla is leaving. So the good ones have gone and now we've got a crock of shit left.

Southeastdweller · 02/05/2015 19:14

Craig Charles (Lloyd) is also leaving.

ScrambedEggAndToast · 02/05/2015 19:25

The acting between Sarah and Bethany is so awful, they make the worst mother and daughter combination ever. I know Sarah had her young but seriously, they are more like sisters than mum and daughter. Sarah is an OK actor but Bethany is terrible, she needs to go ASAP.

DocHollywood · 02/05/2015 19:31

I won't miss Lloyd. He had potential to be a funny character but obviously was never given the sort of lines that Steve and Eileen get. He's got a cheeky face but didn't play a cheeky character. He had romantic storylines but could never play the part of loving partner. He gets a ready made daughter but never really hit the mark of being a father. Sorry Lloyd, you never did it for me. Bye.

ScrambedEggAndToast · 02/05/2015 19:37

I liked Sally's comment last night when she was told that it wasn't a Banksy and she thought that one of the neighbours must have spray painted her house "I bet it was one of the neighbours, they're just jealous of my conservatory" (or words to that effect) and when the art critic said that he would have loved to have met with Banksy she said "was he busy?"

Love Sally. Such a snob GrinGrin

cleanmachine · 02/05/2015 19:46

I wonder why all the good ones are leaving? I've heard rumours online that there's a lot of stress on set with the new producer and I wonder if this is true.

Like Lloyd but agree with doc.

elbowsdontsing2 · 02/05/2015 19:51

oh i forgot andreas going as well

AgathaChristie01 · 02/05/2015 20:18

I hope Carla is not going for good, she is one of my absolute favourites. She played a blinder in lots of good storylines, when there were such things...
The day she testified at Peter's trial, I just thought she was amazing.
I loved her and Peter together, I know he was leaving and so there was that ridiculous storyline of his affair etc, but as a couple, he and Carla were very credible, IMO.
I'm a bit afraid that some of the actors are looking at the dross that is being passed off as storylines and getting out. Sad

AgathaChristie01 · 02/05/2015 20:22

I love Sally and Tim, they always make mad laugh. I agree about Lloyd, I neither liked nor disliked him, but I won't miss him.

AgathaChristie01 · 02/05/2015 20:23

...make me laugh... Blush

squoosh · 02/05/2015 20:24

Last night's episodes were great. Loved Sally sitting in a deckchair with a thermos guarding her 'Banksy'.

Norris made me laugh too with his explanation as to how graffiti would naturally progress to people being butchered in their beds! Grin

HirplesWithHaggis · 02/05/2015 21:13

Lloyd's off to do new Red Dwarf for Dave.

OneEyedWilly · 03/05/2015 00:43

I really like dally and time scenes, it really breaks up the dross from the platts and Tracey and Todds panto baddy nonsense. Also really enjoying the curry 4 - I like most of Roys screen time and think the younger men including him is a lovely touch

Listmaker · 03/05/2015 06:50

Just to go back a bit...the hot curry was meant for Roy not Tyrone!

Yes sad to see Alison King go. She is a great actress. I disagree about Ben Price being a good actor though. I think he's terrible!

Like most of you not too fussed about Craig Charles going. They never did enough with Lloyd.

Sally was great on Friday. She and Tim are brilliant.

And I know 49/50 year olds can get pregnant but I think Claire King looks everyone of her 52 years which makes it less believable. So she's meant to be 15 years older than Nick and yet they look pretty close in age. Ben Price looks older than 43 to me. Not great when you're playing a character who's 34 Grin

ProfYaffle · 03/05/2015 11:48

No, definitely Tyrone, the whole point of the scene with the curry was that they were trying to prevent Roy eating it. That's why Tyrone kept interrupting Roy.

Clawdy · 03/05/2015 14:08

Yes,definitely meant for Tyrone. And they would never have played such a trick on Roy.

Reignbeau · 03/05/2015 19:35

Yeah I'm pretty men about Lloyd going, I wonder if they will kill him off. You never hear about Lloyd's heart condition now but they never stop harping on about bloody Les Dennis's.

Reignbeau · 03/05/2015 19:35

*meh not men

Southeastdweller · 03/05/2015 20:38

I'm also not bothered about Lloyd leaving but do think Carla going will leave a big gap.

HellKitty · 03/05/2015 22:50

Gutted about Carla leaving. But did I hear right about Cal going? Hope he takes the rest of his family with him!

Southeastdweller · 04/05/2015 07:36

Yes, Cal is also leaving. I don't think any of the Nazir family have worked as characters in the show.

DuckChowMein · 04/05/2015 07:45

They haven't been given any decent storylines though, nor have they been integrated well with the existing characters.

Tim is a perfect example how how a new character can become endeared to the public. I didn't like him at all at first and wouldn't have thought he had longevity. He's great now though and fits in perfectly.

I particularly loved his comment about Norris's missing apostrophe Grin
