I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

I think some of the storylines have real potential but Corrie are not dealing with them well.

Wishful80smontage · 10/06/2015 11:22

I hope it gets better soon. I don't know where they would need to start really- maybe concentrate on back to basics cut out the ridiculous storylines like the Michael/Gavin saga ATM. They need a serious cull- without another 'disaster' just send them off in various taxi's.
I do think the upcoming introduction of Tracey's ex husband looks promising- I know lots dong like Tracey but I do think she's good.

Pyjamaramadrama · 10/06/2015 11:34

I like Tracey. I know many don't but I think she does ok with certain storylines. I think that they go a bit over the top with her at times that's all.

SymphonyofShadows · 10/06/2015 12:53

I didn't know she had an ex husband but I didn't watch it for quite a while

Reignbeau · 10/06/2015 13:14

The actor who plays Simon was an odd casting decision, he looks nothing like Peter or his mum who was blonde IIRC. Mind you he will probably disappear for a few years and come back with a new face at some point like Tracey/Ryan/Nick. That is so true what a PP said earlier, that Gail should have shown Les before and after pics of Nick to convince him that Andy was really Gavin Grin.

Wishful80smontage · 10/06/2015 14:55

The ex husband was from years ago think she ran off to London with him mid-90's then when she came back (with a new face) it was because they'd broken up. Someone out of holly city playing the ex not sure names don't watch it

Wishful80smontage · 10/06/2015 14:59

No casualty not holby

LineRunner · 10/06/2015 16:07

Ooh, Dr Adam Trueman.

southeastdweller · 10/06/2015 19:43

I'm also looking forward to the return of Robert. I've also read a spoiler about him to do with Tracey which I won't mention here but I do think it's interesting. More emphasis on older characters is what the writers need to do to help get the show back on track.

Him from the Bill !
Dev's crisis might send me into a coma.

eddiemairswife · 10/06/2015 20:15

I wonder if Leanne realises she'll be fined if she takes Simon away without authorisation from the school.

FantasticButtocks · 10/06/2015 21:31

That drunken Michael scene - I'm sorry but Les Dennis could not act his way out of a paper bag. It was laughable!

Loved Eileen though, saying to Gail 'I'm not one to point the finger' Grin

And what is all this about Tracy's ex husband? I must not have been paying attention because I missed that... Confused

cleanmachine · 10/06/2015 21:50

Les Dennis is truly horrendous! The acting is hideous.

As for Tracey, well she midday be shading someone high up as she had had all the major plots for the best part of 2 years. Enough already ffs.

cleanmachine · 10/06/2015 21:50

Midday be shading? ??!! Must be shagging that should say. ..

FantasticButtocks · 10/06/2015 22:16

I don't remember Tracy's husband Confused

AnguaResurgam · 10/06/2015 23:33

Pretty pissed off with Kevin's line "it must be hard to bury one of your kids", rather than 'it is hard'

Has he forgotten the death of his son, Jake?

TheLastPickleInTheJar · 11/06/2015 08:13

I've forgotten his son, Jake. Who was Jake's mum?

AnguaResurgam · 11/06/2015 08:22

Kevin's second wife, Alison.

SymphonyofShadows · 11/06/2015 08:34

David has also forgotten that he insisted that Kylie leave, she begged to stay.

Groovee · 11/06/2015 10:37

What is Jenny up to with Jack?

zukiecat · 11/06/2015 10:41

I remember Kevin's son who died at birth.

Alison kidnapped newborn Bethany, but handed her back just before throwing herself on front of a lorry.

Don't think either of them have ever been mentioned again.

HellKitty · 11/06/2015 10:43

I wish Kevin would shave, he just looks minging. And also learning to pronounce, 'hospital', it cracks me up and drives DS1 mad when Kevin says, 'hospickle'.

TheLastPickleInTheJar · 11/06/2015 11:03

I've met people in rl who say 'hospickle', 'lickle' etc. And i mean adults, not children! Most were in the West Midland, i presumed it was some kind of dialect thing.

I still don't remember Kevin's wife or son but I was living overseas during the Sarah-Lou pregnancy thing (I remember my mum telling me about it over the phone! As if we knew her in rl!) so if it was around that time i probably missed it.

SymphonyofShadows · 11/06/2015 14:10

'Bockle' is another one, argh!

theliverpoolone · 11/06/2015 17:21

I think Kevin's line about burying a child was put in to feed into a 'look' from Jenny ie I think we're meant to suspect she has buried a child in her past.
