I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

really sick of control freak Anna. Faye is more likely to reject Miley with Anna's behaviour.

AgathaChristie01 · 15/05/2015 20:35

I thought that was nasty of Anna, to start shouting the odds at Faye, at school. Faye is only a kid. Oh look, she is scrubbing martyrishly...

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/05/2015 20:49

Tim is bloody hilarious
The Jackson thing is just too good to be true

TheLastPickleInTheJar · 15/05/2015 22:31

Tim is great. My favourite character by far.

AgathaChristie01 · 15/05/2015 22:51

He was so kind, and funny, tonight.

SymphonyofShadows · 15/05/2015 23:00

What did Jackson's mum mean about not letting a stupid mistake ruin either of their lives?

Akire · 16/05/2015 02:04

Thought Anna mean also, Faye was all for giving babe up because she couldn't cope surely plan would be let her take responsibility slowly not make he sit at home while another adult sorts the baby and she resents it!
Was also dubious about jack sons mums comment and about him wanting to go on birth certifacte they are cutting it rather fine, where they expecting him to suddenly come around but made no further contact? Will she try and look after the baby?
Why didn't Leanne have a go at Simeon for bunking off school? No keys have a go at tony instead. My mum would have kicked my backside!

pinkandstripey · 16/05/2015 06:56

Wonder if Jackson's family will go for custody of baby, making Faye out to be unfit or something,

DocHollywood · 16/05/2015 08:33

Go Leanne! Bloody hate Tony for doing the dirty on Liz, hope he doesn't get his 'hard men' round to frighten her.

Piss off Todd. I can see Eileen losing Adrian and they are lovely together.

Lovely lovely Tim. Great scene when Anna, Faye and Miley turned up for tea. 'Why are the curtains shut?' Sally's face was a picture (although who can blame her) and Anna shovelling food in her face before they were all through the door. Lovely exasperation from Sally 'Get another couple of bowls, Tim'.

TheLastPickleInTheJar · 16/05/2015 10:10

Simon's losing the cuteness factor as he gets older isn't he? Grin He seems to have suddenly grown.

AgathaChristie01 · 16/05/2015 10:51

I laughed when Leanne started throwing stuff in the shop Grin.
Agree re Simon, they should have sent him off with Peter.

southeastdweller · 16/05/2015 10:52

Bratty Simon last his cuteness for me a long time ago.

Agree that Saint Anna was vile last night.

eddiemairswife · 16/05/2015 10:57

Yes, Simon seems to have suddenly got a lot older.

TillyButton · 16/05/2015 11:18

I bet Jackson's mum wants the baby.It would be better if she was brought up where she wasn't resented.I think Tim is a lovely grandad ,perhaps he and "grannie"Sally could have herSmile

AgathaChristie01 · 16/05/2015 12:00

And I think there is an unpleasant storyline coming up with Simon, involving violence.

AnguaResurgam · 16/05/2015 13:21

"Was also dubious about jack sons mums comment and about him wanting to go on birth certifacte they are cutting it rather fine"

More than that. She was born on 3 April. You have 42 days to register a birth, so deadline was that very day.

Clawdy · 16/05/2015 21:21

I wondered if Jackson's mum's comment about not ruining their lives meant she was going to persuade Faye to think about adoption.

jkdnanny · 16/05/2015 22:26

I think the comment was because jacksons mum plans to seek custody of the baby. I'm guessing faye will then decide she does want to keep the baby otherwise it wont be much of a story.

AgathaChristie01 · 17/05/2015 09:42

Yes, and Anna won't be happy if they do offer to help, or indeed offer to take the baby.

ajandjjmum · 17/05/2015 11:29

I suspect nothing would make Anna happy at the moment.

I took the comment about not ruining their lives by one mistake, meaning that they both need to continue with their education and future ambitions despite have a baby at such an early age - which was a stupid mistake - although everyone will love the baby. Hoping she intends to help, to make that happen?

eddiemairswife · 17/05/2015 11:50

Anna really scraped the barrel with her comment about Faye taking her knickers down at the ice-rink.

AmIthatHot · 17/05/2015 12:05

I'm watching the omnibus and I can't believe how bad the actors were, the ones playing the thugs in the Rovers.

It was cringy

DocHollywood · 17/05/2015 13:03

I think the character of Anna has run its course now. She never has anything good in her life and trying to juggle childcare between herself, Tim and Gary as well as coping with Faye is the latest in a long line of unhappy events for her in the last couple of years. She doesn't bring anything to the essence of the street apart from being the vehicle upon which to heap these tragedies. Sell your body? Let's use Anna. Ex-wife turning up? Yep, Anna. Teenage pregnancy? Anna's perfect. Losing home? Anna. Losing partner? Anna. Etc etc.

southeastdweller · 17/05/2015 13:06

I feel Anna is one of the more credible and recognisable characters in the show, but agree with Doc she's past her sell by date. She's only been in the show seven years but to me it feels like longer.

AgathaChristie01 · 17/05/2015 16:45

I agree. I liked her when she was supportive and kind to Roy and Hayley when Hayley was dying, but after that the writers / producers changed her completely. I don't believe anyone could be as unkind as she was, to Faye, making such a horrible remark to her, in front of the others from her school.
