Like Peggy - why didn't they film some scenes of her visiting Ronnie again to show later on. I mean surely she would fly over for a visit again with her being in a coma and in hospital?!

I get the feeling they didn't acutrally expect her to be in the 30th, the producer just recived a dreaded phone call one day.

Barbara Windsor: "But you can't have a 30th without me i created the show! Let me arrive for Ians wedding"

Producer, "We have alread filmed the wedding, 6 weeks ago. I'm sorry, and the show was...."

Barbara Windsor: "That doesn't matter, have me turn up in a taxi, go into the pub, i could show the new guy a 'fing or two. Then i can see Dot and have a chat"

Producer: "We have a storyline for Dot."

Barbara Windsor: "I can tell her to live with me and Grant off screen, The fans will expect to see me afterall"

Akire I can tell you why they are having limited location shots...

They are currently re-building the entire set so that they can film it in HD. Whilst it is on the HD channel, they don't film it in HD because the set is not good enough to do it. They film in a slightly upgraded from normal and then enhance it.

Therefore, they are having to do every single place again and can't show all of it! At some point, I imagine all shots will be at the restaurant and chippy

I thought the scenes between Sylvie and babe were very reminiscent of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. Annette Badland is superb. Did anyone see her in Muriel's Wedding and Little Voice? Great actress.

I am curious to see why she is very over invested in the Carters. She is only their aunty, but seems to pull all the puppet strings.

She's great, I agree. I remember her from Cutting It, where she played another horrible character.

The carters bought the pub for £200K I am pretty sure. They had cash for the purchase when Phil got Kat and Alfie out. It staggered me that they got all the legal work done in a few minutes and took the cash in a bag to Phil.

It was bugging me about kim too-when she was telling the story, I felt sure I had already heard it. But who had she previously told?
I don't like Babe. Brilliant actress, but she is creepy. In one way she seems to overly care and in others she just seems evil

I think Kim told the story the night she was in the pub with Kat, Linda and possibly Sharon?

I think we are supposed to find Babe sympathetic as 'the plain one' outshone by Sylvie, but actually she is coming over as fabulously creepy. Its feeling like something is going to blow/short circuit with her and it wont be good.

She is realy creepy she scares me a bit i wonder whatever happened in Ramagate in the caravan will come out and they will see her for the scary lady she really is

I wouldn't have know who Sylvia was talking about if it hadn't been for this thread! Surely she wasn't heathers mum!! I tried to look up heathers age but I'm useless at things like that. Couldn't find a thing.

Last nights was good. Ronnie is out to get Charlie I think - it's hardly all his fault though is it! Although maybe she will surprise them both.
