We looked at running a Sheppard neame pub in Kent and the lease very reasonable the but it's too much hard work imo. I think my oh thought he could just drink beer all day

How does Shirley own half the pub? Mick and Linda bought it then Shirley borrowed money from Stan to pay for repairs. At the time they bought the pub Shirley didn't have any money?

Roxy is so self-pitying! Charlie seemed to adore Ronnie and then five minutes later he's in bed with her sister. Seriously, how could she not see how Ronnie might react when she's already lived with having a niece who was also her husband's daughter!

Phew, I've been trying to place the Queenie reference! It was bugging me too! I didn't pick up on the surname being mentioned. Perhaps it's leading to Shirley having a second chance to be a "mum" to George. Maybe Darren's too busy with work or met someone or just struggling being a single father & he's going to send George to live with Nana Shirl! I always thought Heather seemed a bit younger than Shirley!

Artful How did i miss the surname Trott? I just got 'Queenie'. Heather said she was 40 when she got pregnant by Darren. She died shortly after baby was born. Shirley is what , 55? It works age wise.....wasnt Shirley 13 ish ??

If Mick wasnt Mr Loyal Family Man i'd suggest him for Ronnie ie. her the damaged ice queen, him the 'rescuer'. I'm getting bored with him being so blah: He & Linda's dynamic seems brother/sister ish, like mates more than husband/wife. I want a bit of raunch off him!

I think heather was in her forties already when she got pregnant with George, I'm sure I remember her age being mentioned when she found out. That would make her quite a bit older than mick.

Love the comments about the caravan! Did think babe and Stan might have got together but he was back in London wasn't he? Maybe they did consider killing the baby or selling it?

Whitney has been AWOL for ages with brief pop up. It's shame as one success story and getting on with life and a job OFF the square!

She could easily be dumped mind. Why haven't we see the restaurant for ages? Or wine bar seems strange to build sets then hardly use them.
