Is it definitely, incontrovertibly, beyond all doubt an affair? They're obviously close and have a shared secret, which we are clearly supposed to assume is an affair… but what have we seen, apart from Les giving Claudette a necklace, her stroking his hand/arm and him acting all furtively? It's clearly something he's hiding from Pam, and I'm racking my brains as to what, but am just not convinced it's an affair - yet. (Realise I am probably in a minority of one on this!)

Mrsjayy · 03/06/2015 12:17

Im not convinced its an affair either

Jasonandyawegunorts · 03/06/2015 12:19

am just not convinced it's an affair
You might feel that way because the guy playing Les is a terrible actor.

Mrsjayy · 03/06/2015 12:24

If it is an affair it might have been going on ohh 40odd years and he could be vincents dad Grin

Fakebook · 03/06/2015 13:24

Grin Mrsjayy, don't spoil the Christmas special for everyone!

Jasonandyawegunorts · 03/06/2015 15:40

More retconing of Vincents history.
He officially knows everyone.

woodhill · 03/06/2015 16:29

Yes someone else has noticed Stacey's flarey notstrils.

Excitedforxmas · 03/06/2015 16:37

What has Roxy done to her forehead? It doesn't move. Take it she's had Botox!

LavenderRain · 03/06/2015 20:59

Paul reminds me of Henry from neighbours, from years back (Craig McCloughlin??)

Very Cheesy acting

DieselSpillages · 03/06/2015 21:26

Les being Vincent's dad is hilarious MrsJayy Grin. In EE the six degrees of separation theory shrinks down to 2 degrees.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/06/2015 21:45

Prob not an affair as that's what we are all meant to think

But what else could it be ..,,,,,,,,,

RedCrayons · 03/06/2015 21:57

I agree probably not an affair because that's what we're supposed to think.

southeastdweller · 03/06/2015 22:03

I think it's an affair - a double bluff from the writers.

CrapBag · 03/06/2015 22:48

" I quite like Richard Blackwood, I feel as though I shouldn't but I do."

Me too.

Why does Janet live with Billy? I stopped watching for quite a few years and started again last year so I have no idea why she isn't with Honey anymore yet William obviously is.

I have also noticed the mentioning of babysitters all of a sudden. The must be reading this thread. Grin

CrapBag · 03/06/2015 22:54

I didn't think affair either. It seems to obvious and the kiss on the cheek when he met with her in the park didn't sit right with an affair. But what else could it be and why did they go on holiday together?

oneowlgirl · 03/06/2015 22:56

Crapbag, Honey took William to Canada (think he got some kids modelling thing or Honey got a job - can't remember!!) & she left Janet with Billy as she didn't want to take her away from him (I think - can't remember if there was more to it or not!)

CrapBag · 03/06/2015 23:13

Ah right, thanks. Something that had always bugged me (obviously she wasn't concerned with Janet losing her mother and brother then).

I'm guessing we are going to be seeing more of Les. That's a shame as he's fucking irritating. Pam is lovely though so I feel sorry for her.

They seem to be eluding about the assisted suicide again but I thought Pam actually lied about that and there is more to it. It certainly seemed that was when she told someone (can't remember who) about it then said to Les that she told them she helped them to die (and was lying about it).

cherrytree63 · 04/06/2015 07:59

If Ian is such a top chef, why was he chopping that veg so slowly instead of the supersonic knife blurring speed of all the TV chefs?

Jasonandyawegunorts · 04/06/2015 08:02

I noticed that too, Funny thing is back in 1985 when he got his first job cooking for Den Watts after school he could cut quite nicely.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/06/2015 08:30

Getting near the end of this thread so my opening post questions

Still don't know what Cathy story is

Phil did get the archers - but now lost the Albert

Yah the baby is micks

Ronnie has seemed to figure ROXY again. I wouldn't like a sister like that !!!!

Dot. Guilty of manslaughter and think got 14/18mths so will be out prob after Christmas serving half

The Arches. Phil got the Arches. I really can't see him as a fan of a radio soap set in the countryside... :o

bleedingheart · 04/06/2015 18:35

Phil didn't think it silly that the actor playing Sharon's dad is basically her age? (The actor is 52 in real life!).

I still don't understand how Vincent and Ronnie went from star-crossed lovers to enemies overnight. I get she got the gun from him in the East End but how does he prove she killed Carl? He will implicate himself.

Ronnie telling Phil to keep Sharon in check when she is the loose cannon of the family! Some nerve!

Kim gave in way too soon and took Vincent back just like that.

I don't like Claudette or Pearly Whites Paul.

Also wish Ben would just come out again and let Abi go. She's controlling yes, but she knows she isn't being told the truth. Let her go and mature. She's too good a catch for Ben, despite him being irresistible to all gay men apparently!

nancy75 · 04/06/2015 19:48

Oh no, Sharon has obviously been the victim of a nasty creosote accident

nancy75 · 04/06/2015 19:52

And spilt a pot of tippex on her teeth

QueenFuri · 04/06/2015 19:58

Shock Cindy the little shit!!
