He looks about the same age as 45 year old Sharon.

RedCrayons · 01/06/2015 23:17

I can't concentrate on Sharon's stories for looking at her hair.

And Les - has there ever been a worse actor?

Paul doesn't hang about does he?

oneowlgirl · 01/06/2015 23:18

Agree with all your points Red Grin

Mmbop · 02/06/2015 00:24

That was the most awkwardly stilted episode ever Confused

Sharon saying 'I'm going to find my real dad and then me and Denny are out of here' uhhh... You're an adult? What's the relevance of your dad? Just leave. She sounds about ten.

And Claudette and Les's awkward recap conversation in the park that NO TWO PEOPLE WOULD EVER HAVE. 'Oh then this happened didn't it?' 'Yes then you said that and I said that.' For the viewers at home.

SoupDragon · 02/06/2015 08:59

The only part of last nights episode I had a problem with was the Paul and Ben scenes.

How on earth would Paul know Ben was gay (he fits none of the stereotypes) - as he eyeing Paul up?
Has Ben never had a male partner before? He seemed very inexperienced given he was openly gay at one point.
"I fancy you" Really? Does any adult ever say that without being ironic??

I like Les. I think it's his character rather than the acting. I love the that under the somewhat solemn exterior he cares about people.

Fakebook · 02/06/2015 10:10

Grin Sharon was on the phone to Roxy last night saying thanks for keeping Denny. I like how they're explaining where the kids are these last few episodes.

Yes I made a Hmm face at Sharon saying "I'm finding my dad, then we're leaving"!...what a freeloader. I bet she expected her dad to be loaded. She's been marrying every man she meets since she came back to the square. Can she not live by herself for 2 minutes? Pathetic person.

And do you really make flirty comments about lips when someone is about to beat the shit out of you? Confused. No you don't.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 02/06/2015 10:28

they would be better cutting down an episode a week and having less filler.

Mrsjayy · 02/06/2015 12:24

The ben and paul scene was cringy just awful

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/06/2015 19:08

Agree the gay snog in the park where everyone goes was a tad silly

And did he leave coz he knew les was having an affair and didn't want to stay there

Or is les not seeing her?

LavenderRain · 02/06/2015 19:48

I think the BBC have been reading mumsnet, they keep mentioning who is looking after the kids Grin

Jasonandyawegunorts · 02/06/2015 19:51

Everyone who's not on screen at that moment by the sounds of it.

SoupDragon · 02/06/2015 20:07

Yes, the sudden appearance of babysitters is very funny!

CrapBag · 02/06/2015 20:18

I like Sharon's game. I did wonder why she would believe it so readily, she isn't stupid.

What was with Les' s acting tonight!? It was awful!

woodhill · 02/06/2015 20:41

yes dreadful with his voice going up a semi tone after every word. him and Pam remind me of a 70s sitcom couple, bit like George and Mildred.

oneowlgirl · 02/06/2015 20:59

George & Mildred - that's who they remind me of too Grin

VonHerrBurton · 02/06/2015 21:33

Paul, must be the one and only 'holiday rep' that has time off in May, just when the summer season kicks in. What with him 'selling a full booze cruise in half an hour' Hmm

Fakebook · 02/06/2015 21:46

Sharon saying "you're lucky I don't kick that stick from under ya" to Ronnie Grin.

Vincent knowing the old gang from Walford is unbelievable. Will he remember Kathy when she comes back? How old is he supposed to be? His acting is atrocious at the minute; there's this little comedic glint in his eye like he's about to burst out laughing after he finishes his line. I wish he'd develop that menacing look like Michael Moon used to do. He's probably the only character along with Zaynab who I still miss.

RedCrayons · 02/06/2015 21:56

Wtf Vincent knows Den. But not Sharon or Ian. Seriously! EE come up with some crappy plots but that is just ridiculous. Course he'll remember Kathy, he's probably arranged her fake death. And Dot used to babysit him. And he was Loftys best man.

I can't bear the Cokers. Les is just dreadful. And Paul isn't much better.

CrapBag · 02/06/2015 22:06

Yes Vincent is much younger than Sharon! How would he know Den and not Sharon!

woodhill · 02/06/2015 22:06

did it myself. crisps pegged to the inside of my dressing gown.

woodhill · 02/06/2015 22:06

sorry wrong thread

nancy75 · 02/06/2015 22:09

Woodhill, I HAVE to know what that is all about?!? Crisps pegged inside your dressing gown Grin

RedCrayons · 02/06/2015 22:12

How/why do you peg crisps into your dressing gown?

Fakebook · 02/06/2015 22:13

Is that how to make ready salted crisps into salt and vinegar?

RedCrayons · 02/06/2015 22:15

Eileen's hair is glow in the dark.
