I thought that about the murder/man slaughter thing. They are separate crimes and she was being tried for murder. Doesn't make sense.

Wtf with Dean?! Why on earth did he want the baby to be his? He really needs to get a grip. I know he hasn't been charged with anything but the writers need to stop what they are doing with him, its really passing me off. I hope they aren't going to drag out this satisfying conclusion for ages.

Poor Shabnam, she is struggling over this baby business.

I thought it was odd that she would have test results when she had complained to Phil that she had nothing and needed the video. I then remembered it was in a box but I don't really remember what was in it. It all seems rather tenuous. So, usual EE stuff :)

I think it was in Pat's loft and thus Carole's house. IIRC, she wanted it back when Carole was really ill and Bisnca wouldn't let her in. There was some kind of drama anyway. I think Dean had left or something so she wanted the video.

Didnt shurl leave Kevin to look after the kids then jimbo died then shurl left again when would she have had time to get their blood groups tested. Oh, gawd, now Dean's going to go all weird & possessive about Shabnam's daughter, isn't he Shock Poor Shabs.

OTOH, this could create the opportunity for him to be finally done for rape - he'll pursue his parentage, after mucho insane drama Shabnam will be persuaded to make a police complaint, and of course a nice Muslim girl wouldn't have willingly shagged some geezer in the bogs so he'll be prosecuted this time.

Meanwhile, Ronnie will settle into her natural role as the square's new murderous psychopath. Very satisfying :)

No - she was quick to blame herself, but Stacey fished it out that she wasn't willing. Iirc, she was drunk and up for a snog but wouldn't ever have consented to a bonk in the bog.

Re Shabnam, was the snog/bonk/'relationship' with Dean something that was shown on EE 7 or 8 years ago. or just something that conveniently happened for the script writers?

Dean and Shabnam happened after she left the square, so off screen. She was mates with his sister.

I don't remember her telling Stacey that she wasn't willing. Just that it happened and it was embarrassing.

Although Gralick, I think that is what happened, but she doesn't realise it.

I think his comeuppance will be Buster and Shirl not believing him anymore.

Apparently he does remember as I've now read the spoilers about Dean and his interfering mum trying to claim the kid. Also, Bonnie Langford's playing Kush's mother! In the stills, she looks surprisingly like Gail Potter.
