Wycombe as Close Protection Officer for CJ you need to be aware that he can be a target for abduction, so you will need to stay focused, stay alert and keep him alive!! Otherwise enjoy!!

Watch out for comfy chairs with a surfeit of scatter cushions, boulder arrangements and any buxom women, in suspicious getups but probably wearing some combination of crocs, a utility belt with an inordinate amount of gadgetry attached and a whiff of the latest Cornish eau de pilchard ... neither of these characters will be up to any good!!

Ilovelblue · 27/04/2015 07:17

Morning all. Gorgeous morning here but very frosty. Glad I wrapped up all my early potatoes yesterday. Also glad I didn't bother cleaning the car!

Ilovelblue · 27/04/2015 07:19

Oh Nickel are you taking CJ to work with you this week?

icemistOBE · 27/04/2015 07:25

Morning, back to work after a lovely week off.

BK - don't think photos are for Australia. Doesn't make sense to post them on a Sunday when it's shown (think Thursday) in Australia.
Of course could be reading too much into it Confused

'Struth, Chris Evans is STILL wittering about Poldark and the handsome AT!

orphan · 27/04/2015 08:20

mummyr don't worry I'm not anti Grimsby other than as a romantic surprise break destination Smile As a child I lived for a few years very nearby. My best friend's granddad was born there and has tales of swimming across the Humber.

orphan · 27/04/2015 08:22

ilove any frost damage to the delightful bird table?

Ilovelblue · 27/04/2015 08:55

Sadly not orphan as it's still sitting on my settee glaring at me. The eyes are so gruesome I daren't take them out of the box!

BK28 · 27/04/2015 09:07

ilove alternative solution would be take straight to shed to await mounting, and then it is out of sight etc and very low priority and never sees the light of day again OR straight to charity bag!!!

Onlygirljen · 27/04/2015 09:21

send it straight to the shed to await mounting. Now there's an idea for next time CJ is in town...Grin

pixieg1rl · 27/04/2015 10:14

buys shed

Ilovelblue · 27/04/2015 10:15

Jen that is a lovely thought to contemplate. I have a shed - how about you. The trouble would be however that it's not very tall. It's fine for me but I'm not sure CJ would be able to stand up straight in it. Still, I guess he wouldn't need to stand........

BK28 · 27/04/2015 10:40

Looks like I'm a step ahead of you two re the shed and it's a tall one plus I think there might even be a redundant swivel chair in there as well!!! jen you so own that QofS title!!

Ilovelblue · 27/04/2015 11:16

I might try out the shed idea once you bring him up to me a week on Wednesday afternoon BK prior to our trip to Edinburgh.....

mummyreeds · 27/04/2015 11:17

Re: Shed - been there, done that, got the T-shir...silly big grin still on my face Smile

Onlygirljen · 27/04/2015 11:18

I do have a shed, and it's a tall one! Hubs is tall (taller than CJ) and disappears regularly to make his home brew in it. It has become something of a man cave. Doesn't have a swivel chair though, gutted. Very strong plastic walls though, so no danger of splinters Grin

cjwoofwoof · 27/04/2015 11:19

Huh huh huh huh.....finally! I've finished the London Marathon in record breaking time of 3 days 15 hours...got a head start by setting off on Friday before it got too crowded...wheedled past several Ethiopians and Kenyans on the way...not easy carrying an extra long handled scythe, a tray of succulent syllabubs and a fully loaded basket of fresh Cornish pilchards whilst being followed by the entire population of London cats I can tell you. Thank God there was that lumpy old sofa to take a rest on, but unfortunately I think Paula Radcliffe had already taken a comfort break on one cushion but at least it threw the cats off my scent for a couple of miles.

Heartbroken that AT will no longer grace my Sunday night viewing but I believe Strike Back boys are imminent so every cloud and all that. Could really do with a double helping of CJ to ease my aching heart and very pleased to note he's much more local to me now he's staying with nickel Just need a quick flannel down to get rid of the 3-day fish odour and I'm good to go.

BK28 · 27/04/2015 11:25

nickel you had better keep your guard up if woof is going to be sniffing around. With your sub letting to Wycombe we need to be extra vigilant! Just keep your eyes open for any suspicious mobile sheds!!

cjwoofwoof · 27/04/2015 11:32

Indeed BK and my shed has excellent internal lighting too. Admittedly there may be a few cobwebs that need clearing but nothing a good probe with a long handled duster couldn't solve

BK28 · 27/04/2015 11:42

lighting! I would have thought that woof you would have taken up any opportunity for a headset and night vision goggles experience!!

Ilovelblue · 27/04/2015 12:13

BK CJ will need to keep his guard or something up too!

cjwoofwoof · 27/04/2015 12:33

Oh no BK CJ wears the headset in our relationship!

SoEverybodyDance · 27/04/2015 12:57

Oh CJ Woof I am almost crying with laughter at the thought of you resting your pilchards on the lumpy old sofa that Paula took a comfort break on...

You are so wickedly creative, and I would so enjoy a cjwoof style OG/Poldark crossover FF??? Please please?

orphan · 27/04/2015 13:30

Hey less of the lumpy please dance!

I second your plea for woof to put her twisted literary talent to a ff.

SoEverybodyDance · 27/04/2015 13:42

oh, sorry Orphan I truly did not mean to offend... I was influenced by Woof you see how powerful her imagery is!

Perhaps you could have an extra CJ ration, woof as a reward?
