Mummyr if BK has gone AWOL, I can collect CJ from the end of the M55. I'm only about 5 miles from there. He can stay with me overnight with the greatest of pleasure (the pleasure being all mine of course). If he wants to stay tomorrow as well, he can help me look after my friend's five year old boy. I am sure they will enjoy playing soldiers together!

Definitely not dragging out! Just curious- I hate where a story gets wrapped up too quickly. And in your story there's lots to get sorted out

Richtea - good luck for your ds at the marathon. Is he 18? Dd's best friend is an amazing runner but can't do the marathon as she isn't 18 yet - but at 17 she can't do the junior one either this year.

Thanks orphan but probably not worth getting excited about. Will see what happens with it. Going to finish up with in the long run now, it's pretty much run it's course!

If CJs got spare days before iloves trip (and the wedding), I don't mind keeping him here for a few days so we can get reacquainted! Don't want to be greedy if he's now booked up though, so only if he's free.

Any news from mummyr on the job?

Jen there were accusations a couple of weeks ago that we north of Birmingham were taking all CJ's attentions and now there's the opportunity for some of our friends south of Birmingham to enjoy his company, they're not interested! Looks as if it's me, you and ice again. Not that we're complaining. I wonder if we need to cut his tour short?

I'm back. I'm south, when's he heading this way?

I think you get him on Monday Nickel, that's assuming BK has collected him, otherwise I need to nip up to the motorway and collect him myself to keep him overnight. In fact, it's getting late, I will do that anyway and BK can pick him up from me tomorrow. She's taking him to pixie then it's on to you. There's a bit of a gap then till my trip to Edinburgh so you are welcome to have him for at least a week if you like.

Completely kn.......d tonight. Unlike me, but just slumped in the chair watching whatever rubbish is on TV. Well, I've watched Gardener's World which I love but now watching Masterchef which irritates me a bit - tend to find it rather pretentious.

If only it were real. I have a whole load of jobs I bet CJ would tackle for me!

I'm knack'd too. Littlie waking up every few hours, cos her blanket isn't in exactly the right place, or needing a drink, or some other such nonsense! Just watching Masterchef from the other night, have to catch up. Although I've not been as interested in this series so been watching while doing other stuff too. Don't tell me who wins though (although, I don't actually know any of their names!).

I'm South!!! And available!

Out tonight for pub meal with DH , our wedding anniversary tomorrow 17 years, although DH out tomorrow with his mates to sandown races! I've got MIL in his place, so kind!!!

Mummy hope all went well with interview.

I'm also knackered and just about comatose on the couch. Combination of horrid week at work and 2.5 yr old still not sleeping has left me in a pretty pissy mood - need to have a word with myself!

Well, Richtea it looks as if you get him after Nickel. You need to hand him over to BK (who is very quiet today, I've had to go and collect CJ myself) by Wednesday 6 May please.

CJ is just in the bathroom. He was hanging around at the sliproad of the M55 not quite knowing what to do. I've told him there's some wine in the fridge when he's all freshened up. He said "Suppose you are on to the Collective now to report back". I think he has our measure by now, don't you?

Ooh enjoy dinner rich!

I'm expecting CJ tomorrow for a fleeting visit. Early start on Sunday for London. My friend and I are celebrating turning 40 by living it up at an RHS show on alpines. As much as I would enjoy having CJ to help me home with my purchases I'm planning on popping him on a train in central London for whoever has him next - was it Nickel?

In RL news it looks like DS has developed another allergy (he's already allergic to dairy and peanuts). He came up in hives all over his body this afternoon. As far as I can tell there hasn't been any exposure to anything I know he's allergic to - all signs point to something in the garden rather than something dietary. Antihistamine has been administered so hopefully I'll benefit from him having a nice long (drugged) sleep tonight.

Do you think he'd find his way west through the marathon crowds, pixie? Is that Sunday? I feel completely out of touch ... only know its the marathon cos richteas DS is running! rich maybe you could pick CJ up and stick him on a train for me? I can pick him up when he gets here ... and take him to Nando's for lunch. Do you think DH and kids will notice?

Tonight has just perked up with CJ turning up unexpectedly. I think it calls for an early night, don't you?

Oh no pixie, your poor DS, and you :( I hope that the antihistamine kicks in quickly, and he is OK tomorrow.

My worry for the marathon crowds is that it holds so much potential for abduction by cjwoof and orphan. I will keep an eye out for unconvincing rock/milk maid/pantomime horse costumes.
