Old thread here. This is copied and pasted from there.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Next episode is Easter Monday at 8.30pm (for an hour). This is the start of knockout week.

Then:
Wednesday 8pm-9pm
Thursday 8pm-9pm
Friday 8.30pm-9pm

They start the week with 12, lose one a night and at the end of Friday they're down to 8.

Then just to confuse us even more they put an episode on a Sunday (12th April) 7.30-8pm.
Monday 13th 8pm-9pm.

That's as far as the BBC website shows at the moment. That's semi-final week so presumably the finals are the following week.

I knew I was right not to like Tony...........

Marlinspike · 20/04/2015 21:56

"Technically... it's gone wrong".

Thanks for that incisive insight Gregg!

ilovesooty · 20/04/2015 21:56

footle I wondered that.

I'm amazed he got this far though.

squoosh · 20/04/2015 21:58

tony is such a plonker.

fourquenelles · 20/04/2015 21:58

I agree with that decision. Shame but I thought he had been weak since round 1.

BTW I now can't stop looking at Paul's eyebrows.

TrulyTurtles · 20/04/2015 22:00

Emma needs to up her game to get that weekly column in the guardian
Oooo them posh scandi restaurants. See you all next time.

Givenotake · 21/04/2015 05:08

And we shall walk!

LOVE that the slow mo walking is set to a motivational Churchill speech. Because master chef and the war are one and the same really.

Woken by the sodding dawn chorus so watching on catch up.

MaddingCrowd · 21/04/2015 05:18

'A man who knows more about Churchill than err.... Most...'

Givenotake · 21/04/2015 05:37

God I am cringing so much at all the people trying to assert how well they know Churchill.

All toasting Sir Winston but one has to say 'grandpapa'. To be clear you think you know him but I REALLY know him.

And all the absurd oh yes well as you can see from these paintings on the wall Churchill would have really liked this dish.

LineRunner · 21/04/2015 06:38

Churchill would have liked to kick them all up the arse.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/04/2015 10:29

^"Will Greg(g) be gutted if no-one has him as inspiration?

Jacana · 21/04/2015 10:39

Loving all your comments, couldn't get it on I player last night so just caught up.

Now, I really like Emma but Christ, still no idea of the importance of presentation ? Might have tasted fantastic, looked like it'd been sicked up. Sorry, Emma.

So I've now switched allegiance. Si-mon! C'mon Si-mon!

Ffuchsia · 21/04/2015 10:40

I've had breakfast with Churchill's grandson, does that qualify me to discuss his culinary likes and dislikes?

GrouchyKiwi · 21/04/2015 13:56

I thought that the tasting people were the apex of ridiculous but the guests at the Churchill dinner ran them close.

Tony grimaced in solidarity, I thought. Looked like an "eesh" sort of face.

Pete certainly hung on by the skin of his teeth so wasn't surprised he went out first in Finals Week.

Simon is going to win. He's pulling clear of the rest.

ZeroFunDame · 21/04/2015 14:01

Because of this thread I've been unable to focus on anything but Simon's fabulously well groomed eyebrows. He makes me feel shabby.

I think Paul may go tonight. JT appeared to look in his direction in the trailer last night.

squoosh · 21/04/2015 14:04

Paul can't go before Tony!

Tony and his 'tache need to be thrown in the trash.

Jacana · 21/04/2015 14:54

My tenuous link to the Big Man. His chief gardeners son at chartwell, if that's where he built all his kitchen garden walls, was skippering a yacht in the med. the bloke I worked for wanted to buy. Dunno about Himself but the English boat seller was well dodgy with his sex parties anorl.

Told you it was tenuous..tales of debauchery I heard were much more interesting Grin

Reckon Paul' s for the chop tonight. Can't stand the heat in the kitchen, can he?

LaVolcan · 21/04/2015 15:54

Emma has become a bit too samey - falls back on middle-eastern food each time, plus presentation issues.

Simon to win I think - he could do no wrong last night.
