PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Next episode is Easter Monday at 8.30pm (for an hour). This is the start of knockout week.

Then:
Wednesday 8pm-9pm
Thursday 8pm-9pm
Friday 8.30pm-9pm

They start the week with 12, lose one a night and at the end of Friday they're down to 8.

Then just to confuse us even more they put an episode on a Sunday (12th April) 7.30-8pm.
Monday 13th 8pm-9pm.

That's as far as the BBC website shows at the moment. That's semi-final week so presumably the finals are the following week.

But you could at least serve up Mr Only Does Japanese's food in a restaurant, and as far as we can tell, it tasted OK. You couldn't serve up Catherine's uncooked puddle, however good it tasted.

I don't think Gregg's brief was clear enough. He should have said "pudding without fruit", I'm right with him on that one

Speaking as a gastronomic ignoramus, at some of the top end Michelin starred restaurants we've seen on Masterchef a puddle of hot but uncooked cake mixture would probably be hailed as a masterpiece! If she'd strewn it with edible flowers or stuck a glass dome over it and filled it with smoke, she'd have been straight through.

Absolutely salivated over Strong Man's dessert and thought Laura and Sarah's looked delicious.

Oh, and I meant to say that my TV system said last night's episode was 13 of 24. Loads left!

Anyone else been watching Larkin & Dales Takeaway Revolution? Previous Masterchef finalists setting up their own chain of takeaways. I watched episode 1 and also it wasn't that great I wanted to know whether it was worth persevering with. Really liked them both when they were on Masterchef.
