I wish they'd make up their minds about Duffy rather than parachuting her in for a bit of nostalgia every time they have a significant edition. Do people with good jobs in New Zealand seriously keep coming back to the UK and signing up for temporary heavy duty nursing jobs here just for the hell of it?

And another thing. If Duffy's planning to come over and get a job at Holby, might it not have been sort of normal to contact her mates and arrange to meet up? Instead of which it seems to come as a surprise to Charlie every time.

I don't like Duffy. That was a rubbish episode. Like the relationship between Robyn and David, agree that Dylan and Max get the best lines. The Rita and Ian thing makes me feel uncomfortable, she seems so needy.

I still don't understand the Rita thing. She took a phone call which apparently said that the person damaging her car wasn't her ex. Presumably it wasn't Ian as he hasn't been arrested, and/or the identity of the person concerned was unknown. But she doesn't really seem in the least bothered about it. Have I missed something?

No they never have had a relationship,though it always seemed like they might. Duffy was in it at the very start (of Causalty) with Charlie.

I don't get the whole Rita story. Will that be it now? Will she go batshit crazy? Will they all make up over a round of karaoke in Albie's?

My thought about the conference accommodation was that no way was it suitable for families as the receptionist suggested. Well, not my family - they would have made short work of it!

I really, really like Dylan.I think he is really trying although he is finding it all immensely difficult. I want Robyn to find someone to love but she seems very naive and gullible.I thought her and the 'pretend' widower looked too much like brother and sister. The whole Rita thing is horrible I am not looking forward to watching what happens when she comes back. I laughed out loud at the dropping baby bit(embarrassed face) I knew something would happen with the baby but wasn't expecting that. I want Connie to be happy with Jacob AND get to have a relationship with Grace but I doubt that will happen, this is Casualty after all!

I agree, hobo - Dylan is making huge efforts and his father's too dense to see what he could retrieve from the relationship. I had hoped that Robyn and David might make a good couple, bringing out the best in each other, but that appears not to be happening. I disagree about Connie and Jacob, though - their idea of being in a relationship involves too much giggling, simpering and generally mooning after each other (although she's more guilty than he)!

Can someone please explain the whole Rita/Ian thing to me.
I understand he is portrayed as a 'blokes bloke' and he appeared to have commitment ishoos.......

However, him and Rita seemed to be bumbling along quite well as a couple.

Enter the new paramedic, confident, young, his sexuality is a talking point, and all of a sudden Ian decides he's dumping Rita.

Do we know why exactly? Does he have feelings for the paramedic? Does he think he's too young to be settling down and wants to appear cool and down with the kids in front of the paramedic?

It all seems driven by the new paramedic this splitting up malarky. He seems to have orchestrated it and talked Ian into dumping Rita who looks set to turn into a total bunny boiler.

And Robyn. Can the scriptwriters please give her a break and just let her find a man and actualyl be happy, do her job and carry on with life. Why does there always have to be 'something'?

Loving the relationship between Dylan and Max. Makes me chuckle.

All I want from Connie and Jacob is that they leave. I find them both incredibly irritating, and even more so when they're slurping over each other.
