First off, I caved and watched ep. 10 curled up with DrIssy last night but I won't mention anything related to it here.

Third, I love that we can talk about TM without the shipping wars or absolute unawareness of 'how the word, not to mention humans, work' that often seems to pervade tumblr etc. A bit of shoving and elbowing to get in line, fine, I can handle that but some of the stupid elsewhere, oh it makes the brain hurt.

On season 3, apparently the writers are moving away from single episode storylines towards longer running stories, so hopefully less of the 'in it for one episode and then disappearing' characters, according to Ryan Gage in this magazine interview. Hopefully they'll add a bit more banter back into the mix as well.

Oh, I really hope so. I'd like a decent storyline for Porthos, too ... is it just me, but I find the storylines for him (one about his estranged dad, one where he gets caught up with the bloke and daughter who tell him he'll never be French) a bit, well, stereotyped 'black character'?

I know we have stories about Athos' past too, but they're about him, not about 'generic black history of France popped in here'.

That's good news Issy. Hopefully the schedulers will be sympathetic to that as longer running storylines really would need more continuity and no missed weeks. Crosses fingers! x
