DS is crashed out asleep Elk. He ate some toast this afternoon and has drunk a fair bit of fluid. I ran him a bath and he fell asleep on the towels while it was filling so I've popped him into bed and hopefully he will stay there all night. Hope MlleElk is on the mend. bads apparently you can get a mild form, called scarlatina. He had this weird rash a few weeks back, vomiting, temp, very sore throat. I thought it was another throat infection and the rash was just a kind of viral rash like you said. But this school letter described the rash and it was pretty much exactly like that - red pinpricks, then sandpapery.

Anyway. It might have just been a virus, but I reckon I'll ring the GP tomorrow to see what they say, just for peace of mind. They said on the internet you can be infectious and need ABs a few weeks afterwards, so it's possible they might recommend them. He seems fine now but I don't really want him spreading it more

Feeling much better, DH being a twat today - he's been working at home too much recently and we're pissing each other off. It is his birthday tomorrow which always puts him in a bad mood. Joy joy.
