As you were wenches... The bar is stocked up, the chaise is re-covered and ready for action, and all we have to do it... er. Wait until Friday.
Arse.

2:20.... WW are you watching live with us? (I says 'us', I'm still not convinced that DS won't stay awake and demand my presence though sheer sods-law-ness.)

DS has just put 'Thor' on (or 'Phwoar' as one of my colleagues calls it)

*Apricot - good compromise Grin

Fancy We totally should be roomies Wink

Yep Helen I'll be watching with my wenches Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/03/2015 19:03

Oh Elk - that picture was well FAF by the way. And you'll be pleased to know that I untied him and gave him a wash down before I went out on the school run, so you should be able to run him to ground somewhere - or just carry on waiting in his bed - he'll be back eventually (if exhausted beyond use) but hey.. Wink

We'd have a ball ww Grin

We should have a vodka rack to match the wine rack.

IssyStark · 20/03/2015 19:16

So excited!!!!

Currently sipping a Bee's Knees (gin, honey, lemon juice and thyme) and trying to decide whether it should be a cocktail or wine...decisions, decisions

T minus 1.45 Grin

FancyFancy · 20/03/2015 19:20

And we'd never argue over men - you like alcoholic moody hot beardy fuckers & I like charming flirty hot beardy fuckers Wink

FancyFancy · 20/03/2015 19:23

And finally the BBC tweets about TM

Enormouse · 20/03/2015 19:24

Right, I'm here as well. Finally. It has been a very long and exhausting day. Apparently toddlermouses refusal to speak has the consultant SALT 'baffled'.

I have whiskey and microwave popcorn all ready to go. I definitely need musketeers tonight.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/03/2015 19:31

Fancy it would be amazeballs Grin

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 20/03/2015 19:40

Fancy are you actually on Twitter? If not, get to it

FancyFancy · 20/03/2015 19:41

Totes amazeballs ww Grin

(The cats may be more of a problem. FancyCat does not share well)

FancyFancy · 20/03/2015 19:43

How frustrating mouse. Sounds like whiskey, popcorn & hot men are really needed tonight!

MadamedeChevreuse · 20/03/2015 19:43

Sad mouse. Whats your next move? Or are you happy to wait it out a bit longer? is the speech therapy in NI as good as the contraceptive services, in which case would you consider going private?

On bus on way home. What a shite day.

Zzzzzzzz

MiladyBeaWinter · 20/03/2015 19:44

Woo hoo. Finally it's Friday. DC are already in bed to ensure peace and quiet. DH is feeling sick (uh oh) so tucked up on sofa under slanket. I have Wine and am on countdown.

Off to look at WW's house.

MiladyBeaWinter · 20/03/2015 19:46

Oh Mouse. Can you get second opinion?

MadamedeChevreuse · 20/03/2015 19:46

Wenches, we should probably brace for a bit of a rollercoaster tonight, since it's setting up for ep10. Im imagining lots of very seemingly bad stuff and a massive fuckoff cliffhanger.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 20/03/2015 19:47

I prescribe a MASSIVE dose of Musketeers all round. God but we could do with them tonight. #drsparks

MiladyBeaWinter · 20/03/2015 19:52

I think you are probably right Madame. And some of us have been stupid enough to organise stuff next week, which will prolong the pain.

It's a lovely house WW but you'll have to fix the stairs. Open treads give me the heebie jeebies. And the wine rack needs to be bigger Grin.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 20/03/2015 19:53

hoping it gets cancelled

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/03/2015 19:56
WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/03/2015 19:58

Wine for Mouse and Madame

MiladyBeaWinter · 20/03/2015 20:06

Mine won't Angry and 'cos reasons I have to go. Fuck fuck fuck.

But that's a week away. And in less than an hour ......

Enormouse · 20/03/2015 20:07

The speech therapy is better than the fpa. I had him assessed privately a few months ago and they couldn't get a proper baseline. He was too uncooperative

But the consultant nhs salt is in her words - baffled. He is very intelligent with well developed motor skills but is mute. He can talk but chooses not to. He is not autistic or on the spectrum, it's not a sensory problem, it's not a problem with his processing or receptive language. He communicates in his own way, he show you an empty glass and drag you to the sink when he wants water. If he wants food he won't ask - he'll go to the fridge, get out bread and butter, get out cutlery and a plate and will butter his own sandwich.

The SALT says she's never seen a child like him before.

Enormouse · 20/03/2015 20:09

The second opinion (actually it'll be the 4th or 5th opinion) looks like a good option though. Thanks Smile

IssyStark · 20/03/2015 20:26

mouse my friend's uncle was like this, he didn't speak until almost 4yo and then came out with perfect sentences. Was a very clever chap and just hadn't felt the need to speak apparently.
