As you were wenches... The bar is stocked up, the chaise is re-covered and ready for action, and all we have to do it... er. Wait until Friday.
Arse.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 19/03/2015 14:02

i'm with helen on Star Wars comparison. That is all I have to say on the matter because I do not care one bit for star wars.

FancyFancy · 19/03/2015 14:09

Marcus Brigstocke does a comedy show on Radio 4 called 'I've Never Seen Star Wars' sparks

Still incapacitated by cat-in-a-jumper. She's washing now, so is obviously in for the long haul. I'm joining to have to move her & make myself unpoular.

FancyFancy · 19/03/2015 14:10

going, not joining

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 19/03/2015 14:13

By the way, where is Chaise?

OP posts:
SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 19/03/2015 14:53

Thanks Fancy! Well, there's one thing we haven't got in common then - Radio 4 Grin

Haven't seen Chaise much at all lately.

LetUsPrey · 19/03/2015 15:15

I've seen all six Star Wars films and have played Lego Star Wars quite a bit. Saw the first one/part four at the cinema. I like listening to Radio 4. Aramis is FAF.

I'm still not here.

Morelikeguidelines · 19/03/2015 16:12

Maybe porthos is Luke? And treville is yoga "your father he is" and all that.

Aramis is Han and athos is obi wan.

Not sure who dog is. Maybe he is chewbacca? Or an e wok?

Morelikeguidelines · 19/03/2015 16:12

Yoda not yoga.

Baddz · 19/03/2015 16:28

New Star Wars film in December! Smile
"Dingy sticks" Smile is forgotten that one!

LetUsPrey · 19/03/2015 16:30

Kingy could be Jar Jar Binks.

Jeebus this has been the longest two weeks ever

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 19/03/2015 16:37

Convo here yesterday:

Me: "Is it me or is this week just crawling by?"
Everyone else: "No."

?????

In other exciting news - I have just used one of our toilets for the first time in the 2 years we have lived here Grin

I think I need tomorrow to come now, before I get too excited about things like ^that.

FancyFancy · 19/03/2015 16:39

Hasn't it just?

And there'll be another week of extreme self-restraint needed after Friday.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 19/03/2015 16:49

I think we've actually done pretty amazingly to get this far & still not have a clue what's coming

side eyes Issy

MadamedeChevreuse · 19/03/2015 17:15

How many toilets do you have sparks??? Shock

FancyFancy · 19/03/2015 17:36

Maybe it's a man-toilet madame & that's why she doesn't normally use it. Now the en-suite is all mine, I have been known to walk past the downstairs loo & up the stairs to use the toilet there, a toilet unsullied by men & their inability keep 100% of their piss in the bowl. Bliss. Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 19/03/2015 17:43

Both toilets in my house are man toilets fancy Sad Actually, worse, boy toilets.

I bet sparkles wee is pink and smells of roses. Grin

FancyFancy · 19/03/2015 17:48

Sad my commiserations madame. I love having my own private toilet and discourage the DCs from ever using it Grin. I am mean.

FancyFancy · 19/03/2015 17:50

On Friday evenings I expect most wench wee is 90% prosecco Grin

Enormouse · 19/03/2015 18:10

Home at last.

Love the star wars analogy. Makes perfect sense.

All toilets are man toilets in this house Sad.

In a slightly depressing note, I can get a coil fitted on the 28th of April. That's the earliest appointment. In Carrick. Because my local fpa doesn't have the staff to do it. I had to wait a month for an appointment to make an appointment. And now I have to wait - what is that 5, 6 weeks? So nearly 2 and a half months in total.

Thank God tomorrows fuckable Friday.

Carolina2015 · 19/03/2015 18:14

Dashes in to say hello.

I am still looking at the Athos gifs Elk posted while typing so excuse any spelling misakes or typos

Baddz I'll lend you my iron if you'll do my ironing. I am also a little underwhelmed by S2 and miss some of the fun and the TM's brotherly relationships.

Ehhhrrr... what else have I read on thread while watchhing Athos gifs? Ehhhrr.. yes Sparks and Letus - it's been a looong two weeks but the wait is almost over. Must remember to pick up wine and chocolate on the way home tomorrow!

OK... off to cook some food and be back later XXX

Baddz · 19/03/2015 18:15

Mouse..that's a fucking disgrace! So Angry on your behalf!

Enormouse · 19/03/2015 18:21

I really felt for the nurse and the dr running the clinic. It was a 2 woman operation out of what seemed to be a store cupboard. (It literally was, it had boxes of those bounty packs in the waiting area). And bloody busy, as you'd expect for a clinic that's only on one afternoon a week.

The nurse was deeply apologetic and it really was the earliest appointment she could find, in any of the 3 hospitals that would have been nearest.

FancyFancy · 19/03/2015 18:22

Angry for you mouse, you'd think that in a place that was anti-abortion they'd be doing all they can to prevent unwanted pregnancies. But obviously that would be too sensible. And make women's lives easier.
