cjwoof I'm sure Blue Peter did a similar 'make' once - I have a dim and distant memory of John Noakes showing how to repair audible crack injury using sticky back plastic and a cornflake packet.

I think maybe the reverse triple lunge with extra thrust was the point where we went way beyond the sticky back plastic/cornflake repair option orphan. No, I'm sticking to my plan of a good old blow and lickity spit from my trusty attachment. If that doesn't work then I need to bring out the big guns.

Good grief Kezia given the bad press the NHS is getting this week its not very reassuring to hear there are vans in their car parks saying they make dead people zombies! I do hope it wasn't the latest mission statement prepared for some NHS Trust who have a very low budget to spend on PR!

Just looking at the A/N on Greenstuffs story about the nasty reviewer. It really is getting like poison-pen letter writing isn't it? It reminds me of that Miss Marple story where everyone gets sent the letters and they are in fact meaningless because its all a screen to cover up one particular crime. (I won't name the story in case you haven't seen or read it) Well, its obviously just malicious nonsense. Perhaps the best course of action is firstly to delete them so they never appear and secondly to possibly not even mention them and give them the satisfaction of being referred to! It really is so unnecessary.

Mind you, I should add that I completely understand the desire to respond to something so unkind and unfair - I didn't mean to sound critical. I was thinking mainly of the best way to deter someone from bothering to do it in the first place.

Crikey, I have just read THAT comment from "Rach" how rude. I can't believe the language used. Does anyone remember about a week or more ago someone posted on this thread. I can't remember exactly what was posted, but something like "what a load of shit this is thread is". I did t reply and I don't think anyone else did.

I can't believe I still have zombies, whajeb's new one and pixies update ... and now, instead, I have to go and cobble together two book day costumes (well littlie wants to go as Elsa, so that's sorted!) and bake some cakes for the school cake sale and a loaf of bread for a lunch meeting I stupidly offered to make bread for! What was I thinking!?!

Wish I did have a magic wand! What I should have said was this was what I need to do tonight, what will probably happen is that I will spend ages trying to sort out a costume, and then will be hitting sains in the morning to buy cakes and bread (ooh and creme egg biscuits)! Put the cakes in a tin with icing sugar and shake .... and put the bread in the oven to warm!! That'll kid everyone, yes?! See ... I'm still on here and not actually getting on with anything!

Yes, hooray that the dreaded dressing up day is long gone for me - now it's just the trauma of dd deciding what to wear on mufti days. Thank god for uniform most of the year.
